Roll-O-Matic Roller Mop Refill by Freudenberg Household Products

If you're using a roll-o-matic mop, this is the correct refill. The fast-n-easy and other models don't fit and they fall apart. All of the o'cedar sponge mop refills are poorly made and overpriced. There is no such thing as a good value but if this is your mop, this is your refill because it fits right and lasts longer because of that. Some of the other models are better priced but it's not a good deal if they don't fit because sometimes they don't even last long enough to finish a room before they start coming apart. I have a bucket-full of o'cedar mop heads that are practically new but came apart at the metal clip.

I have been buying these mop refills at a local hardware store for years. They are no longer available there, so I checked Amazon of course. The mop didn't even survive one floor wash. It came apart on first push.

I like this mop it holds up better than any other mop. I have had no problems with it about falling apart or anything I usually replace my mop head after a month cuz that's how much my floors get used. I can probably get away with changing my mop head every 3 months if I really want it to.

Like numerous other users, I had a bad experience. On the first day I used it the sponge started working its way out of the U-shaped metal clamp that holds it. Might be able to get it back together, but I tried a bit with no luck. I had ordered this more than a year ago as a spare; the original sponge worked fine forever. Not sure if they have changed manufacturing methods or it's a different design than the (now-discarded) prior sponge. But unfortunately this is one to stay away from.Nov. 2017 - I complained to the manufacturer shortly after writing my original review, and they sent me a new sponge head without my explicitly requesting it, so I'm bumping this up to two stars. But clearly, they have been having some sort of quality-control issue.

Bought it in the hope it might fit, since no one has the correct mop head. I was wrong, but that's not the product's fault.
