I bought this for my daughter's 4th birthday and I went on a hunch and ordered the Medium size for 4-9 years. That was the right choice. I would say this size is good for a 4-6 year old really. Everyone loves it. Even older kids - boys even who don't like "girly stuff" - come over and want to ride it. I've had to tell many a disappointed kid know because they are over the weight limit on the toy.My daughter was in love with it from the moment we opened it. It was easy to assemble and the fact that it is mechanical and doesn't require batteries is my favorite part.She rides it every day as does her older brother (5 years old). She hugs it good night every night before bed and talks it it while she plays with other toys during the day. I think it must be her favorite gift ever.We've only had it a few weeks but I get the sense that we will be buying more in future.

This was a big hit for our daughters 5th birthday. She loves it and it's fun watching people smile if they drive by why she is on it or when we take a walk and she wants to ride. She uses inside and her big brothers like to hop on too sometimes. Overall I think its an expensive item, but its well loved so it was worth it. She specifically asked for a unicorn to sit on. She was so excited she could actually ride it.

Very happy with this purchase. Easy for my 6 year old niece to use. It was her favorite Christmas present. I received it quickly and assembly was a breeze. Now my nephew wants a boy version of the ponycycle.

Our three year old daughter loves her unicorn! So glad we got the bigger size and couldn’t be happier with the quality. It’s the highlight of her playtime!
