This product is pretty good for what it is. There are brighter LEDs out there but it's hard to find the performance and looks in the same package. So this is where apex stands out. Although is not really scale looking, the LEDs perform average (better than Proline). I didn't mount it using the tabs on the housing. I took a screw out of the housing and mounted the feet to the housing instead of the tabs. This brought the light bar down more to give it that more realistic look. I still give it 5 stars for the effort and price. I just wish they would shrink wrap the entire wire loom for you. That would have saved me some soldering and shrink wrap time. Overall, it's worth the buy.

Put this on my daughter's slash last weekend and she loved it. I recommend using a little bit of lock tight when installing the hardware. I will be ordering a smaller version for my mini Revo soon.

Light is super bright. Brackets are nicely built. Wish it was waterproof. running 6V as recommended and the wire is getting a little too hot for comfort.Update: only 2 LEDs light up now. Requesting a replacement and waiting for feedback

I haven't had the chance to mount it on my Slash 4x4 but if it's anything like their 4 led light bar that I bought than I'm pretty sure it's going to be a good product...yes I bought the smaller one for my rustler and I have used it, must say it is brighter than I was expecting and it also says it's not water proof but if ran with it out in the rain and still works like a champ... get your bang for your buck with these..

Installed this Light on 1/5th scale Rampage MT. I have it connected to a four channel receiver so I can power off and on from the remote. They are very bright and look great. I have rolled the truck a couple of times and did not hurt the light at all. It is very sturdy when mounted in the right place. I chose to mount it in front of the windshield to keep it from catching the brunt of a crash.

Just got my package and inspected this is a very nice looking lightbar great quality I will not be able to tell you how bright it is it's a gift wife won't let me try it yet but it looks really good......update I have installed on my 1/10 scale robby gorden slash body and I have to say this is a very nice bar great for short course 1/10 scale bodies excellent product so far haven't lit it up yet will update when I do
