It does have a tiny seam above the toes, but hardly noticeable. These socks are very soft and thin, and that's very nice. I will say though, I think they have more spandex in them than I would like, but I'm older and sometimes have trouble with edema. I wear a size 9 shoe, and I bought the XL (size 9-12), and they are snug, but room in the toes. If you are young, and thin, I think these would be perfect socks. But if you are older and have any health issues (diabetes, edema), then these are not the socks for you.

Hello, They are lightweight socks, silky and temperature regulating, and should be good for summer.

Q: Will these dry quickly if I wash them by hand?

I wash mine in the washing machine. They do dry quickly. I’m fairly confident that any way they are washed they will dry fast.

They are NOT compression socks. Just regular socks, very lightweight and very smooth. I bought them for hiking because I can wear two pairs at once and avoid the rubbing that causes blisters; somehow the socks rub against each other instead of your foot--truly wonderful.
