Perfect tool

I bought an anti static pad from a well known company. It came with a wrist strap and came with another plug that connected to the pad but nothing to allow me to ground it. So I had to buy this and it worked perfectly. I would recommend this product. Decent quality, effective for what I needed it for.

A complete set. It worked well. It is very light duty. It works but I would not buy it again.

I like this unit because of the design that centers on safety and assurance of the connection you can make to ground. Sometimes, when working with static sensitive equipment, especially in dry weather, you are not certain that the ground connection you made is actually the best choice. With this unit, you plug directly, yet safely, into an electrical outlet ground with no likelihood of accidentally encountering live voltages. Inexpensive protection, a long coiled cord, and a comfortable wrist strap all add up to a great product that I sincerely recommend.

It seems to do exactly what it's advertised to do, which is to ground your body to the wall outlet ground lug. The only odd thing about this kit is that you have to use the aligator clip end to attach the wrist/ankle strap to the ground plug. It makes a connection and didn't fall off, but connecting and aligator clip onto the female socket of the ground plug is not ideal. It would have been much more professional looking and robust to have a matching male connector.
