You may want to test your product with current wiring set up before you tell perspective buyers how it works.... your "red wire to the battery" and " metal plate to any equipment " will overload the circuit you have wired and cause a fire!!! It also makes the lights stay on.... simply remove the daisy chain from the circuit breaker feed and put hot wire from you fuse panel in its place... this will insure proper voltage/amps and the lights will work properly as well.... other than that it seems to be fine so far, only time will tell!!

I have yet to complete installation, but kudos to the company's service. I emailed with a concern about the attachment of one of the negative leads. It is soldered to the bus but there is no strain relief nor any mechanical support for the wire. My concern is that with vibration or time, the lead could break. They immediately sent another unit. The second unit has the identical attachment. I would characterize it as a potential design flaw, and not a manufacturing defect. That said, they were extremely prompt and efficient on sending a replacement after my first email. I then just went ahead and reinforced the lead with several layers of UV setting plastic (Bondic--great stuff, by the way) to add some mechanical security to it. It may have been fine, but it looked weak to my OCD brain. I'll update later.

Purchased this almost a year ago but I am just getting around to installing it. Once it was installed wired and powered up three of the eight rocker switch lights did not work. Replacement rocker switches are not available online. The result would be to order a whole new unit to see if I can get eight out of eight lights to work. Will purchase another one and use the first one for spare parts. I I will fire it up when it comes in and will just keep sending it back if until I get one that has all the lights working .

I bought this panel not expecting it to be the highest quality just based on price. I was surprised though how well made everything appeared but the switches only lasted about 3 months and the backlight leds for each switch lasted less than that. I have seen bought quality switches and breakers from seachoice which are much better quality but the actual panel is what I really needed so not a total loss.

I understand that boat items go through harsher circumstances, but I installed this panel on my boat nine months ago and two switches are broke and some lights don't come on when switch turned on. even though they were shielded from the weather Now I have to try and find replacement switches so I don't have to replace the whole panel. Spend a little more on a different product and hopefully you'll get a better performance. UPDATE..switches are FALLING APART AND ARE NOT REPLACEABLE!!!!
