This is made so well. Very strong and durable. I use it on mY 82 yr old mother to - pull up in bed, sit up in bed when getting out, changing position in bed and in recliner, getting her up from chair and wheel chair. It never slips and if you are by yourself like me it makes it so easy. I do recommend that you wear a back brace like you would on the job ( with the straps around the shoulder) Just to be safe.. Haven't used it yet - thank goodness. It's a good item to have on hand. Last time I took a fall (I have MS) I could have used this, well my hubby could, to get me to my feet.

Couldn't do without this handy device to make sure I can keep control of my loved one who has difficulty standing.

Works great. You may need two people to pull up a very heavy person from a prone position.
