Having liked the look of this bowl online I was not disappointed when it arrived. Perfect size and shape with a strong sturdy handle and a beautifully indented copper finish with a protective coating inside. The indents help the cream or soap lather quickly. I would certainly recommend this item to anyone looking for a well made copper bowl which I have found ideal for shaving.

I love the look of this shave mug. The dimples do a great job of helping build a thick foam. BUT, the handle isn't the most comfortable to hold and its super thin metal construction does not hold heat at all. Even if you pre-heat it with the hottest water you can get from your tap, by the time the lather is built and you bring the brush to your face, it is cold. It is now being used as a decorative place for me to throw my spare change.

This would have been a 5 star product had it not been substantially smaller top diameter than listed 4.72" in actuality it is only 4.0". For my purpose this made a huge difference. How does a vendor even make a mistake like that?

I’ve looked for a copper shaving mug for a long time. The bronze handle is a nice accent, and the depth of the bowl is perfect for my boars brush. It also goes well with my drinking mug and brush/toothpaste holder. Definitely a good purchase.
