Havent smacked the cracker dome tet, but this lid provided me enough courage to not only take to the skate park, but to put my blades on as well!.!Look folls, I worked in ems and public safety, I KNOW hownimportant helmets are in any sport or recreational activity. I know everywhere we look a government entity is regulating our safety, and even most of us have lived the "back in my day we didnt need a helmet"What we fail to realize however is people these days have lawyers, good ones, even your local "skate at own risk" part forgets to show the legal disclaimer that shows theor high dollar lawyers that will not hesitate to take things to trial.Dont be the one that thinks they can win-this helmet is far cheaper than a hoslpital bill or legal fees, and people at the skate park are used to seeing peopme with helmets so just buy the darn thing will ya.Good quality, great fit, comfortable and holds sweat well (till u take it off-then its anchors away.

First, we measured my daughters head 2x. It said she wears a large. Nope, its too big. Then I found out I have to payalmost $9 to return it?! It had said Free Returns! Also, just so you know, this particular helmet is NOT certified. I am ordering the certified one in a medium and am praying it fits!

It’s comfortable and lightweight. Not sure I’ve hit my head in it yet but maybe that means it works. I like it

I love this helmet. I have had the exact same one but in black for nearly 15 years and decided to order a new one (in white) since my black one is all sorts of scratched up from various spills and adventures. My original black one is a Large but I had to bump down to a medium in the white. Maybe the fit has changed over the years, either way, i'm just as happy now that i have a new one. I originally ordered the large but had to exchange it. Exchange went smoothly thanks to the seller issuing my refund the day it was requested. Definitely recommend this helmet and seller.

I LOVE this skate helmet. My 10 year old skates at least 3 times a week, and his prior helmet didn't fit as snug as I would have liked, and eventually cracked from use/falls. We replaced it with this ProTec helmet and my son could instantly feel a huge difference! Comfortable, breathable, and fits true to size (the ProTec site has a great sizing chart). I couldn't be happier with this purchase. A good fitting helmet is critical for skating, because every kids takes falls when they are learning new tricks. It's important to have the best quality protection possible.

Spend the extra $10. Buy a brand thats trusted. Isn't your head worth it?Wouldn't consider any other brand. The fitment was great, the padding is comfortable, and the white gloss finish is sweet!!!

I received my Pro Tec Helmet a few minutes ago and I am very pleased. The exterior packaging was great and the helmet comes in a drawer like box which is nice because you can store it easily in a locker or at home. The helmet comes with extra decals, is pictured as above and had the original tags and manual. The fit was perfect. Originally I ordered a medium but it was a touch too snug. If you are not sure based on the sizing chart, I would err on the larger side. My head measures 22" and though the medium fit, it would have given me a headache after prolonged wear. The Large is just a little bigger and a very comfortable fit. The helmet also feels very light which is nice. strap is adjustable with a band to secure the slack. I would buy Pro Tec again. Shipping was also very prompt through Amazon fulfillment center. Thanks guys!

This is Protecs classic skate helmet, meaning it its not certified for safety rains because it is meant for multiple relatively low speed impacts, such as those found when skating in a skate park or street skating. The 2 stage foam is good for many impacts, and when worn out, can be replaced easily and cheaply, unlike eps or sxp helmets. It will run about $10 to buy new pads.These helmets are also let profile than the eps or sxp helmets because if the softer foamYes they do fit pretty tight, but that is so they don't slip around on your head. If your close to the upper range in size, you can get away with the next size up, however I would recommend stay in your size four the proper tight fit that holds the helmet in place during impact.

Doesn't fit that well. I'm constantly lifting the front of my helmet up. I've adjusted the straps accordingly, and they just choke me out SO BAD. Wish I did not buy this helmet. Buy S1....

Awesome helmet! Quick delivery, it was exactly what I had ordered and a perfect fit. Price was very reasonable as well. As suggested, I did measure my son's head to determine size and it was accurate. I highly recommend this product for teens and adults.
