Woolrich White Collection Women's Patrol Down Parka

Ordered under my husband's account, but for a woman. I give the coat four stars only because sizing if a bit off: I got the medium size and found it too restrictive in the shoulders. Sent it back & got the large, which fits fine in the shoulders & arms. I'm 5'5" and 135 lbs. The waist & hips seem a bit big & puffy, but there's a waist cord that can be tightened. The coat is nicely made with all the features I wanted: longer parka for thigh coverage, a hood that closes, quality down (not feathers), many large pockets for gloves, hat, ear muffs and phone, and waterproofing. You won't need to wear a sweater under this coat on cold days, but there's ample room if you do. The fur is actually very nice.

I love this coat. I've been using it in Detroit in 9 degree weather and I'm more than warm. I ordered a large so I could wear sweaters underneath and it's still a bit large (I'm a size 8 and 5'7"). They run larger than you might expect and I should have gone with the medium! But the design looks great and you can tell it's great quality. There are also so many pockets and they're super useful while still maintaining a chic appearance for the coat. 100% would recommend!

Overall, this coat fits a bit big in the torso (even with layers under), BUT the sleeves are too short and too narrow. I have long arms, so this just doesn't work for long arms and it would be hard to fit a bulky sweater or fleece under-- but b/c it's warm you may not need those things under it. Returning due to sleeves too short.

Coat's warmth is fantastic. Has stood up to Boston's snowy winter just fine. It is a little big, but that is what I wanted.
