Great Product, but wish I could afford a 1080 TI
I bought this product for my new gaming rig, but have installed it into my old one until the rest of the parts come in. The first thing i noticed about this card is it is massive, bigger by half than the GTX 670 I had in my previous rig. Yet, despite its size, the GPU went in without a hitch and seems fairly well supported by the case screws, though I'm not sure I would leave it in a PCIE slot that isn't reinforced for long. The GPU comes with a disk that contains the drivers and MSI afterburner, but since I don't have a CD drive on my rig, I let windows do it's thing and then ran Geforce to ensure the drivers were up to date. Once everything was good to go I ran a few benchmarks and the results were pretty good, but i believe my AMD processor was bottlenecking the GPU. If I could afford it I would have bought a 1080 TI or at least a 1070 and I'm sure that would have blown my mind, but this GPU was exactly what I was expecting for the price and performs considerably better then my 670. I would recommend it to anyone looking for one of the best GPU on a midline budget, but if you can spring the extra money go for the 1070 or 1080

Definitely A Good Upgrade To Consider
Upgrading to this GTX1060 Armor from my old MSI HD6850 Cyclone was like using a whole new computer. I went from playing most games with settings on low/medium to playing pretty much every game with all settings on High and some even on Ultra. I can't believe I waited so long to upgrade. Moreso, I can't believe how HUGE the difference, considering that this is in a computer I built 8 years ago and haven't barely changed since, other than also upgrading my ram when I bought this card.I've put this card through some torture testing with MSI Kombustor, on standard clock settings, and it never broke 132 degrees. While actually gaming, it's not been over 127 degrees. Granted, my case has four 140mm fans, one 80mm fan, and four 120mm fans (5 push / 4 pull) with with a fairly strong positive pressure inside, so it usually stays at a decent temperature inside. All of the times I've actually remembered to check it, the fans on the card haven't gotten over 45% while gaming. I'm not even actually sure if they're loud at 100%, because that hasn't happened yet.I highly recommend this card. It's looks good, performs great, and stays nice and cool.

Excellent video upgrade for the money (some minimal pc updates may be needed before successful installation)
Works fabulously! I replaced a gtx 550ti & there are definite improvements. It inserted easily, but did not work. My bios was outdated & had to update (original build was 2012). Once I updated the bios - the 1060 process was flawless. A handful of minor pc display adjustments across the HDTV & second HD monitor - general day to day screen viewing has improved, nice to have 2 hdmi outputs. Able to stream from xbox one to pc now (relatively unimportant). Only minimal improvements noted on current Steam games so far (as the games I have, ran well under the 550ti). Biggest difference will be the ability to play newer / better Steam games at higher settings. I enjoy my xbox one console, but no doubt that PC gaming can produce far better video results. I did alot of animation rendering with the 550ti, have not tested with the 1060. My primary purpose for the 1060 upgrade is gaming.

MSI Armor dual fans = Major sag
Pros:-Fans are quite-Pretty fast gtx 1060 6gb for it's class-Single 8 pin power connectorCons:-Major rear sag-No backplate (it would definitely help with the sag if it has backplate imo)I had really bad luck with this card. First thing I noticed is the rear end sag, it was more extreme than what I thought it would be. I searched online and found out that it's common problems for MSI armor gpu line. I had MSI gaming X and it wasn't sagging this bad. Then this GPU kept restarting my PC, I checked the log and it's giving me critical kernel power event 41 (63). I never had this problem before installing this GPU, I swapped my old gtx 970 and the random restart go away. I was curious so I installed this GPU into my bedroom htpc and it's doing the same. I ended up returning this and order the single fan OCV1 version. So far so good, no sag since it's in mini form and i didn't exp random restart just yet.I know it might be one off isolate problem on my case but I will be staying away from MSI armor line in the near future.

A Great 1060 for the Price
Pros- This was a great upgrade from my MSI R7 370, It has 6gb of VRAM and performs like a beast. When I launch overwatch I can run the game at 60 fps, and really, really quietly too. This is a overall really great product and I recommend getting it.Cons- None so far =)

It works amazing so far
This graphics card is perfect and quiet and it's also very easy to install and it's quite bigger than I expected but that's not a problem.I have a Ryzen 5 3600 8gb ddr4 3200mhz ram and this gpu gets constant 180fps in fortnite and it runs very smooth in gta5 high settings I've had it for 4 days and it's been performing great so far.

Really good card.
I upgraded from an R9 280X to this monster. Needless to say I am very pleased with the performance.Update:Almost 2 years going strong. This card is very good, but now with the 1660 ti out I would recommend getting that instead since it performs better, and the prices are about the same.Second update:No signs of stopping. This card is still superb and runs pretty much anything I throw at it. I will be upgrading to a 3070 so I can play VR games in high fidelity. Until then.

It's about the value! (Price vs Quality)
Your friends ever told you to get the gtx 1070 or 1080? You don't really need to if you do not expect more frames than 60fps on AAA/high end gaming. Getting the gtx 1060 6gb version is ideal I believe. I have tried many games such as GTA V, Doom, Witcher 3, etc. Performed pretty well! Got like 60-100fps on ultra high settings. Favorite game to play for me is Arma 3 and I never complaint about screen tearing or bad quality. Only $260 for great performance!
