FunkoFirefly Zoe Washburne ReAction Figure

the picture looks real, but not the figure.

As a big fan of Firefly and having grown up on vintage Star Wars figures and the like, this Zoe Washburne figure makes a great addition to a Funko ReAction or other retro style figure collection. Right off the bat, the likeness to actress Gina Torres is not very good, and that might turn some fans off to the figure (and other ReAction figure offerings). But, that's not the point of these figures, the lack of an accurate likeness is in keeping with the retro style of these figures that are meant to recreate the 3 3/4" figures of the late 70's/early 80's.That style includes the basic 5 points of articulation as well as an overall simplistic aesthetic. For collectors expecting or wanting something fully articulated and a bigger scale with much more detail and a great likeness, Funko has their Legacy Collection line. Otherwise, this Zoe Reaction figure and her accessory delivers on what it's supposed to and brings us back to the charm of the figures from back in the day. For those collectors who are into that, I'd definitely recommend it.On a side note, mine arrived with some minor bending/creasing to the card back. Luckily, I'm not a sealed collector, so it really didn't matter to me. But, for those who are sealed collectors, just a warning, there is a chance of getting one with some minor package issues. Also, I got it from Katana-Collectibles for only $4.49 with free shipping. Quite a steal if you ask me and definitely worth picking up at that price.
