These are big, heavy, seemingly sturdy whiskey glasses. Though not to be confused with glasses designed for "tasting" or eliciting the aromas of bourbons or whiskeys. they can be used for pretty much any drink, but they are nonetheless nice glasses for that evening cocktail. They arrived well protected inside a form fitting box, complete with coasters and ice tongs. A nice touch, an added bonus if you will, but not the key selling point (for me). The glasses were a bit dusty when they arrived but a quick wash revealed crystal clear glass that shows off whatever liquid is inside. So far, very happy. I took one star away because these things are "heavy", weighing in at some 14 oz (396 grams) which is not a bad thing, just something to be aware. And the "twisted" shape of the bottom, while very interesting visually, takes some getting used to...but these are minor nits. Enjoy!

Read the description clearly! It says “Crystal CLEAR GLASS”.It IS NOT ACTUAL CRYSTAL!!! I will be returning them for the actual crystal set of twist for $30

This is a perfect gift set, got it for my dad for Christmas. Comes with 4 glasses, 4 coasters and ice tongs. Get a fancy ice bucket to complete the set up.The glasses are sturdy and fit in your hand perfectly for sipping. I recommend washing them twice before you use them for the first time. The foam in the packaging leaves a funky smell on them, but it washes away. The coasters look and feel like a marble or granite with a non slip back. The ice tongs are ice tongs, not much to say except they work and are shiny.

These glasses are a gift. Needless to say, I am quite pleased. They are HEAVY! (Perhaps there is a sneaky reason behind this?!? Too many drinks and you won't be able to lift the glass to your lips thus telling you that you have had enough?!?) Anyone would be happy to receive this.

If I had a complaint and it’s not really one I’d worry too much about unless I was a restaurant is they are not really stackable which in a restaurant would make it difficult to clear tables but for a home bar the are perfect especially compared to what I’ve had in the past
