One of the Best PC Games Ever!
I was one of the first purchasers of this product when it was released in 2009 and completed it several times in those first few years. I had all but forgotten about it when I bought my newest computer, but stumbled across it on Amazon and remembered just how enjoyable it was. I ordered it immediately. Happily, it works fine on the latest Dell running Windows 10. I admit PVZ is a bit easier to complete having learned its various tricks and methods for progress years ago but no less fun. This remains one of my favorite games of all time. The instructions are simple: plant plants that defend your house against oncoming zombies. Each level is increasingly harder with more plants to select from while encountering more difficult zombies. But unlike many games, there is humor throughout and the cartoonish graphics remain delightful. While I will never understand why Pop Cap, the maker of this game, has ceased producing new PC games to concentrate on the digital market, this remains the best of the best. If you're looking for mindless entertainment that's easy to play yet challenging enough to occasionally frustrate, this is your solution.

Great game!
I've been looking for this particular version a long time now. This is the first released version which contains Michael Jackson. The way I see it the only version of this game. The CD case was sealed in plastic. The disc was in perfect condition and it installed fine on my linux machine (via PlayOnLinux, a frontend for Wine). The game worked perfectly, even the sound. Expensive and the second time I'm buying it, BUT it does not require any online activation or even the CD after install. Perfect, the way it should be!

Simple, addictive fun
A simple addictive game that's really fun to play. Been playing this game off and on since it was released. Is it easy and lowkey? Yes. Does it provide entertainment without consuming your life? Also yes. Everyone's a game critic these days and it seems we've forgotten the simple days of Minesweep, Solitaire, Space Cadet Pinball and many others. Is this the next E-Sport? Probably not even though endless survival is way more entertaining than a bunch of 15yrs olds screaming at each other in a Halo match. Point is, this is just a fun, addictive game that will have you going through at least two playthroughs unlocking everything. When you get bored and move on to something else, it'll still be just as enjoyable when you pick it back up in a few months/years.Doesn't require the disc to run or any dumb online account creation. Load it and mow down some zombies. It's that simple.

Got it on time for our grandson only problem was that I needed it for a Ps4 game instead of a CD for the television

greatest game of all time
I love this game and play it whenever I'm bored, take it on the plane and play it the whole time. I am sad the old version I bought from Popcap can't be downloaded anymore, I played that on my PC for at least 10 years. This is a super fun way for my grandkids to interact with me. They all love playing it and I am a real hero when I can show them what they need to when each level. Fun and challenging but easy enough for little kids.
