I like trying different sprays and colognes because I am always trying to find the best smell for my chemical makeup. I have found pretty much every spray and cologne smells different on everyone that tries one on and this one is no different.This cologne smells great on me. I had several people try a couple of different scents and this is the one that the people kept coming back to and said they would buy for themselves or their boyfriends. It has a light rummy smell that is different from anything else I have and it works well.My only issue is it doesn't last a long time. That really isn't a major issue. You just spray a little more. That being said, iif there was one flaw that was it.This scent has joined my rotation. It smells good and just works as it should. If you are looking for something different give this a shot. That being said, try a little before you get a whole jar just to be sure that the scent is right for you.

John Varatos has another hit! The bottle is beautiful and what’s inside smells even better. I would describe this scent as very masculine and very sexy. This woodsy scent is subtle but has notes of something else that is exotic and warm. My husband, who is not a big fragrance person, loves it. He sprays it in the air and walks through it. Doing it this way allows the wearer to add just the right amount, so that it is a hint of something and not toooooo overwhelming. I hate it when men wear so much cologne that it seems like they bathed in it, or you shake their hands and it lingers. The method allows you to have just the right amount, so that it is not overwhelming. And finally, neither of us (my husband or I) had any reaction to this scent. I did not sneeze or notice any irritation to my eyes and neither did he. I gladly give this fragrance 4.5 stars.

I wear a little bit of cologne every day to work, so I need something that is not overpowering. Plus my wife is fairly sensitive to colognes so it is sometimes hard to please her, but this cologne checked off both boxes. I put the cologne on in the morning and it is not too overpowering, plus at the end of the day the scent has not completely worn off. This scent has a musky manly sort of smell to it. I'm not really good at describing scents, but I can tell when something is either good or bad, and this one is definitely good.It comes in a great looking box, and makes a great gift for someone because the scent is not overpowering. I have never used this brand before so I have no real experience with it, but I really like the brand and can see myself using this brand again.Overall a great cologne, long lasting, and not overpowering.

John Varvatos's Nick Jonas cologne has a pleasant scent. It smells slightly musky with warm and sweet tones. It has a definite masculine aroma to it. I like the fragrance and enjoy wearing it.The problem I have with it, however, is that it doesn't last very long. I spray one spritz on each forearm and two spritzes on my neck. With most other colognes that amount is enough to get me through the work day at least. With this John Varvatos cologne, however, it only lasted a few hours before it was barely noticeable. Oddly, when you first spray it on it is quite strong smelling.The cologne comes packaged in an oblong glass jar with a metal snap on cap. Around the neck of the bottle is a metal label attached with a leather loop.The cologne hasn't caused any issues with rash or other skin irritations.All in all... smells nice, but not for long.
