MagnadyneRV6200 AM/FM/BT/DVD WALL MOUNT MULTIMEDIA RECEIVER

Replaced stock stereo in starcraft camper. Had to use the adapter plate as this is a fair amount smaller than the Linear Series that it came with. As others said, not really true touch screen, more like a soft press. In this day and age would wish for the money it had Blu Ray or at least upconversion of dvds. Overpriced for what it is. And with most half modern tvs from the last 2 decades none are stock 480p resolution so you get stuck with watching a postage stamp in the middle, stretching it, or zooming the image in... All of which make videos soft and slightly blurry. But it has hdmi in (and can do ARC audio back from tv) so will probably buy a portable bluray player to run beside it and use this for sound. Another annoying thing is when you are done watching a video and hit stop, it goes back to the radio which blares through the speakers either white noise or a channel until you - chose a, b, or c channel, then turn down volume. Frustrating to say the least that there is so little choice in the rv stereo field.

UPDATED YET AGAIN: DONT WASTE YOUR MONEYhorrible product, turns on and off on its own, pairs and unpairs sporadically. Linear app is trash, most times won’t connect to the unit if it finds anything else within range, wish I would have stuck with the original unit.. even partially broke still worked better then this piece of trash magnadyne unit!!Original update : after a week of use, not very impressed with this unit.. Bluetooth range is horrible, if camper door is shut( fibreglass exterior) using Bluetooth function won’t reach any farther then a few steps from the door. Touchscreen is not nearly sensitive enough and takes multiple button presses for operation at times. Linear series app is very hard to keep paired to the unit when other campers are close by. If you walk away and come back to try pairing to the app it’s next to impossible. Becoming more and more un-impressed with this unit for the money 👎🏼.. look elsewhereORIGINAL REVIEW UPON PURCHASE: Nice unit, but not liking that if using multiple devices for Bluetooth pairing I have to get one device to forget the unit and turn Bluetooth off on the device to allow for the other device to pair.. makes it like a race to see who gets paired first.. unless I’m missing something??

It says that it is a touch screen but that is a bit misleading because you have to push quite hard to get the functions to work. The audio out as well as the audio on the HDMI did not put any sound to the tv just the audio out to the speakers in the trailer worked. Remote control very hard to get to work unless real close and pointed directly at the unit. Item returned.

I bought this to replace the original sound system in my RV because the DVD would freeze part way through.So far so good.
