Cable works perfectly to replace the frayed cable on my ASUS MB168B monitor
I bought this cable as a replacement cable for my ASUS MB MB168B+ 15.6-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor to connect it to my laptop. I had purchased the monitor almost 10 years ago and it has worked perfectly and is so easy to travel with.I noticed in the past week that my second monitor starting turning off frequently, which was a major problem while I was working. iI turned out the cable was frayed so it wasn't getting a good connection. Plugged in this new cable today and it works perfectly - and it is slightly longer than the original cable that came with the monitor - highly recommend it!

I was staying with family out of state and realized I had forgotten the cable that connects my ASUS portable monitor to my laptop. The excellent description of this product found on the Amazon site helped me locate a simple solution to a big problem for about $7. While this product actually seems to be a fairly common cable type, it was most helpful to have it described as being a replacement connection for this specific monitor. My only issue was the fact that it took a full week to arrive, and was in fact a day later than estimated at the time of order. The late and very poorly tracked delivery seemed to be "on Amazon" not the seller.
