TECH17001 Grout Cleaner, 128 oz

I own a rental property and the tenants recently moved out. I purchased this grout cleaner to clean about 900 square feet of tile. The floors appeared as though they had not been mopped the entire two years of the lease. There was so much dirt and grime caked on that the originally brown grout was black and the tile was several shades darker than it was when installed. I was really worried I wouldn’t be able to get them clean. I sprayed this cleaner on the tile and grout, let it sit for a few minutes, then scrubbed the grout and tile with a grout scrubbing brush. Then I used a steam mop to mop up the dirty water and solution. I did this process repeatedly in 4 squared feet patches.Once complete, I spot cleaned areas I missed. The product did leave behind a filmy residue. But this was likely in part due to how filthy the floors were originally. Finally, we used a floor shampooer to mop up the remaining residue. We used our shampooer because it was less work than mopping but traditional mopping would have worked as well.This process took about 10 man hours and used every drop of the solution but was absolutely worth it as it saved our floors!! The grout and tile were restored to almost new! I am very impressed by this product and it saved me about $400 vs having them done professionally.You absolutely do need to use a scrub brush. I used a grout brush connected to a pole (found for $20) and it saved me from having to be on my hands and knees.If you have tile and are looking to restore to its original luster, this is an amazing product! If this product was used regularly (perhaps monthly) then it would only take a few minutes to tackle problem areas that standard mopping would miss.I highly recommend!

Works GREAT! Our grout was really dirty the day We moved in...been saying we were going to deal with it for months...finally ordered the Tech and then finally got to work. We made a little brush tool for the drill to do the hard work (see second photo) . Used a pointed applicator bottle to apply the Tech, instead of spraying. Waited 10 minutes, then used the brush tool to do the elbow grease...success and beautiful grout, compared to what it looked like at the start.

I'm a Realtor and Landlord, so I speak from vast experience. This product is consistently the very best single chemical for cleaning your grout. I'm not going to go on an on, etc...etc. I am going to give you a few tips.1) You'll note that I said, "single chemical" in my recommendation. I paired this cleaner with the powder version of "Bar Keepers Friend" (available on Amazon) to produce the absolute best cleaning (IMHO) method I've seen in 35 years.2) Tech Grout Cleaner has a relatively short shelf life. Six Months is really the maximum shelf life.

I have about 1300 sq/ft of tile and 1/4" grout lines. Had a company quote $520 to professionally clean my tile and grout, and I did not want to drop that kind of coin so I looked for a way to do it myself. I purchased 3 gallons of this, and a Drill-Brush kit here on Amazon, and I am completely amazed at the results. You go through this stuff quick, so order 2x the amount you think you need, and I strongly suggest using it with the drill brush kit (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075F915WR/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). There is no smell or harsh chemicals in this product, and the drill brush makes short work of this project.

I bought this from the Company Grout Tech for 29.00 last yr. Why are these other sellers price gouging. You can but it online at Home Depot for 30.00. I called the company and they stated they were still on Amazon and didn’t know why my autoship with them stopped. Getting back to the priduct I have 3 dogs who occasionally have accidents. I also have extremely hard water. This is the only product that work. It does take a little effort so we use the spin brush attached to a Ryobi battery powered drill for trouble spots.

I've tried several grout cleaners but this one worked the best. When I couldn't find in stores I bought online in a gallon so I would have it longer. All of the grout cleaners I would spray on my floor tile and leave for a while and come back. This one cleaned so much better with less scrubbing. I order a expensive grout cleaner for my shower and it did nothing so I tried this and it worked great.

Very impressed with the ease of use and quality of this product! I actually enjoyed the instant satisfaction of cleaning the grout.

I have tried countless grout cleaners. Never really satisfied with any of them. This one is the BEST!! I have tried all the home remedies too. Tech has no odor, easy to apply, no acid, cleans up nicely without any leftover residue. Plus it works and is at a reasonable price. Apply with a small bottle with spout, leave on 10 minutes, scrub with a long handle grout brush, mop up and let dry.
