This movies was by far the best seen so far . I loved watching it ,was scary had me jumping off the couch . I would definitely be watching this again it did not disappoint. I would recommend this movie to everyone. Great price as well .

Holy moly. Scary movies have fallen very short lately (at least true horror movies that aren't just full of gore) and have a track record of being very disappointing, so it's rare to come across one that both genuinely scares people while actually being good. I watched this with this hubby, who makes a point to never jump or show that he's scared and laughs at those who do, with the lights on. Within the first 5 minutes we both had jumped and I had about 4 heart attacks.The movie follows the TRUE STORY of a recently divorced mother with 4 children in England who experience an insane paranormal ordeal. They experience activity ranging anywhere from shadows to furniture thrown across the room and appearances/possessions by more than one demon. What I loved was that these activities didn't just occur to only the family, it happened in front of policemen and neighbors and investigators as well, making it way more realistic and frightening. It wasn't one of those things where you find yourself screaming at the TV for them to just get out of the house, because they do at one point and it follows them there too, knowing no bounds. They seem to touch on almost every type of fear relating to paranormal things so it was well ranged...a critic might say it had too many elements but I thought that was kind of genius because it will reach into a wider range of fears that people harbor. At one point they bring out The Crooked Man, I'll admit his animation wasn't great but still scared the wits out of me due to my fear of unnatural body movement and overly tall, thin people.This is by far the best scary movie I've ever personally seen and is absolutely perfect for this coming Halloween.
