My old coasters were cheap and terrible and can't soak up anything - i've put a glass of iced soda on it before and discovered afterwards that ALL th ewater went through it down to the table. Talk about useless. I finally got around to buying new coasters and my #1 requirement is that it must be able to soak up water. I saw some ppl say these don't soak up any liquid but since majority said they do, I decided to take a chance.GOOD CHOICE. I've been using it with my tall glass of iced soda and so far it's soaking up the condensation like no other. the outside of my glass gets so much liquid dripping down, one time i picked it up and it splattered water all over my lap, that's how much condensation it gets. This coaster soaks it up like it's no biggie. it doesn't soak down to the cork bottom either, result is that my table is finally safe!!!The material says it's ceramic stone, but it's definitely not like any ceramic i've ever used before. When it arrived they were separated with individual plastic sheets to protect them, sitting inside the metal stand (which is great, I totally forgot it came with it). There was a layer of white dust (ceramic dust?) on top that i...wiped off on my shirt actually, because I discovered a wet cloth actually doesn't work too well because it's not a smooth surface. the top of it is basically like a very finely sanded...flower pot? It's got like this soft touch thing, and I love it because my glass doesn't clack/clink against it. In any case, wiped it off on my shirt and then tossed my shirt in the wash, all good.If you need inexpensive coasters that looks good and will absorb water like no other, I HIGHLY recommend these!!!

This product has a nice design and a pad underneath the coasters so that they avoid scratching the surface they are on.However, I used 1 coaster to place my soda on top of, it had some liquid at the bottom which stained the coaster... Spend a little more money and get something that will not get stained after first use.

Don’t waste your time… I typically never leave reviews, but I was really disappointed by these coasters after only having them for 2 days. At first, I liked that they were pretty absorbent and didn’t allow the condensation to pool up. But then I noticed the water rings left a subtle mark that wouldn’t go away, which didn’t bother me too much. It wasn’t until I used a coaster for my tea and coffee that I realized just how bad the staining problem was. I got a few drops of tea on the coaster and then accidentally spilled more on the entire coaster. I was hoping I could just rinse it off, but the tea stains wouldn’t come out no matter how hard I scrubbed. Now it’s permanently discolored and stained, which you can see in the comparison photos. Would not buy!! Spend your money on some better quality and easy to clean coasters

Very bad product .The coffee spots on the coaster is not going after several wash.I have just used of twice and saw this

I was very disappointed in this set of coasters. I should have returned them but ended up throwing them away. Very cheap metal stand. The coasters themselves were think, hard and did not absorb water coming off a cold water bottle. There is no edge to prevent the water from spilling onto the table. Clearly they did not serve their designed purpose. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

I bought them mostly for the look but they are actually really useful. They absorb really well!!!There are some what fragile, my 2 year old grabbed one and threw it which caused the coaster to chip on the side. So not kid friendly but they do its job. Super absorbent which is what really matters!

Screen printed image blocks the ceramic pores making this completely non absorbent, it's an inaccurate description of the product, and I can only imagine the positive reviews are either people that haven't actually used their coasters or people that were sent a better version of the product.you can see over spray from the printing on the sides of each individual coaster and by the way it's the same image / pattern on each, which feels EXTRA cheap. Water just sits on the surface, so much so that any cup with a concave bottom surface will use the surface water as a seal to trap air and affix the coaster to your cup as you pick it up. I ordered two different sets of coasters, and while the other set I had is clearly a printed image as well, they are actually porous and absorbent, and don't stick to the bottom of your cold-sweaty beverage. Please take this review seriously, I purchased it about a week ago and gave these a solid chance. I will be returning them because the only thing they are good at is moving water about 1/4" above whatever you want to keep dry. You'll still likely get water all over what you're trying to protect because it just pools on the surface of these coasters and slides off as you lift something up.

I regretted getting these. I expected from the photos —for the coasters to be glossy and high end but they look cheap. They also stain easily. Who wants coasters who stain? The rack with it is cute but the coasters are trash. Don’t buy! I wish I had listened to the negative reviewers.Also these are not white marble - they are a cream stained color and didn’t match my decor.

The coasters are very porous and stain easily. I tried a sealer, which just discoloured them even more.

Absorbed coffee immediately, tried to clean right away but already soaked in. Wouldn’t recommend if you are using for anything other than water.
