My son is a Chiro student and is accustomed to using Thompson drop at school. He found the table to be a cheap Chinese rendition of what’s at the school. The drop doesn’t give much resistance before dropping despite how he sets it. The hip area also seemed to be placed a bit high, but considering this is the only way he’s going to afford a drop table as a student, he’s not complaining.The table is heavy and cumbersome. It folds for transport, but you really aren’t going to be taking it around with you. My son wanted to do house calls on friends and family for practice. He soon learned to bring ppl to the house to use it. He added a box of short table paper for the face area. Works well!

This is a fantastic and well-built portable chiropractic table. I purchased it to use for treating our college baseball team at on site at practices & games. I needed a solid table to withstand the rigors of a long college baseball season. I’m continually setting it up and taking it down and of course traveling with it frequently.The drop features are great to have as well, & it has adjustable legs to make it appropriate for your height when working on patients.There are a few minor issues I have: one is that the table is quite a bit heavier than my prior table. The carry bag makes it easier to carry, but it is still heavy. The second issue is the carry bag is already starting to tear along the bottom & I’ve only used the carry bag for about a month. That is disappointing because if you travel a lot with the table, the bag keeps the table protected.Next, the pelvic piece has a Velcro strap to hold it in place when folding the table up, but the cervical piece doesn’t. So as you put the table into the carry bag, the cervical piece flops around because it isn’t restrained. I cut a piece of rope to tie it which solves that problem but it should have a built-in strap for the cervical piece. Also the cervical piece when folded up to put in the bag doesn’t sit flush to the table so you can’t put anything on top of the table.When traveling on a charter bus, I have to make sure the table is upright and no other equipment gets placed on top of it. The cervical face cushions are removable also as they Velcro into the headrest.Lastly, while it does have adjustable legs to elevate the table height, it takes some time to unscrew the bolts and pop the legs into a higher position. If you’re leaving the table somewhere and not setting it up and taking it down frequently like I do, it’s fine. However, if you use it on the go a lot like I do, it’s time consuming to change the leg height all the time.Unfortunately, the table won’t fold up to carry if the legs are elevated at all. So I typically just keep the legs at the lowest setting which makes the table height a few inches shorter than I’d like.Overall it’s a sturdy table that is quality built and should last a very long time. The pricing is reasonable too especially for the high quality of this portable table.I’d definitely recommend it, but just know the minor issues I mentioned may not work for your situation.
