steady rate of work and you can't manage a bigger tool then this is perfect.
Bought mine in 2014 and bless it every time I use it it's made such a difference to my gardening. I have 70m of thick growing wych elm that I tackle each year with this. I don't have much upper body strength so ended up searching reviews for products suitable for disability and this came up. It has a relatively short duty cycle before needing recharging but I need to rest myself ever half hour or so and my saw charges up at the same rate as my body.Obviously it's a case of tools for the job. If you're a strong person wanting to work all day then buy a heavier petrol fuelled product. If you're just interested in taking the effort out of pruning on a slow, steady rate of work and you can't manage a bigger tool then this is perfect.

Nice bit of kit.
When you are up the top of a ladder ( and you are starting to get on a bit ) tools get very heavy very quickly. This is such a change from heavy chainsaws or working hard with a saw . I used this at the top of a ladder and cut through branches up to 4 inches . Light and easy to use , battery life around 15 - 20 mins of heavy use. So far very pleased with it .Update ...After 16 months the battery seemed to suddenly lose 99% of its charge .As the product comes with 24 month warranty as standard I phoned the number on the Bosch tools site and in under 14 days I had a brand new saw . The Bosch call centre was friendly and helpful , all I had to do was box it up and print out my Amazon order email . No charges for picking up or the delivery of the new item . Plus I have a note telling me when my warranty runs out .All in all I am very impressed with their customer service .

Good piece of kit
The KEO garden saw performs very well though it would seem from the instructions that it is intended to be held in one hand. I found it far more comfortable and easier to use by applying downward pressure from the top surface. I really only have two niggles which prevents me from giving the item the full 5 stars. 1. When I got the saw and charged it up ready for use, it only runs very slowly. I was convinced at first that the on off switch was faulty and indeed almost returned the item. However, trying it out, I discovered that the sawing speed increases dramatically as pressure is applied to the branch being cut. It would seem that this is a deliberate function, but it would have been helpful if there was some mention of this in the instructions. Indeed I only failed to return it after looking on the internet and seeing other comments about this and so decided to try it. Rest assured, it does work and works well. 2. My other niggle is the fact that the safety switch, which has to be pushed in either direction to allow the main trigger switch to work, is hard to operate with one hand. Again two handed operation seems to be required. Maybe it depends on the size of your hand. Once started, the amount of pressure required on the trigger switch is more than I would like. I'm a 73 year old male, not exactly weak, but found the trigger very heavy.Despite these comments, the saw appears to be well made, does what it's supposed to do and does it well giving a good clean cut. The mechanism for changing blades is easy to use. I have no significant concerns with it and feel that I now have a very useful tool for garden use. Bearing the above comments in mind, I am still happy to recommend this item.

Good for small, quick jobs but has limitations
I bought the Bosch KEO specifically to assist with pruning a number of trees in my garden and chose it over other alternatives for it's price, A-grip and because the battery was included (the battery is an expensive extra on many others). It is not too heavy, has a comfortable grip and charged in the 3 hours stated. The saw easily cut through all the branches needed and the A-grip is effective at stopping branches vibrating uncontrollably as they are cut (it's important to make sure the branch is sat squarely / tightly at the apex of the A). I haven't yet tried the saw on anything but branches so can't comment on its performance with other materials. For short garden jobs it is an effective tool and has enabled me to safely use it in parts of the garden not easily reached with cable extensions or where there is water. The main drawback and referred to in a number of reviews is the battery life - it's very short. I haven't measured it with a watch but after about 20 mins of cutting and clearing the debris into a sack the battery was flat. The 10.8v battery is clearly struggling and Bosch should really have fitted an 18v but this may also have increased the price. In summary, works well for short periods of time in remote places where a mains saw would be awkward. If you need a saw for long cutting periods / heavy duty work you should probably consider an alternative.

Does what it says on the tin - just!
Where do I start? After looking at the promo videos for this saw, I was impressed. Cutting though tree branches and larger bushes with ease!Nope....It will cut through these things, just not as easily as you see in the video. Also, the battery is pretty dismal. I got around 50mins of cutting time (at a push) cutting out bushes from my garden. Frequent trips to re-charge it (which takes a good couple of hours) means that a job that I could have done with a decent manual garden straight saw that would have taken me an hour and a half tops, ended up taking 4 times that amount of time. Not the greatest battery operated saw out there..
