The Black Series LED Headlamp

The price definitely reflects in the quality. The on off switch is extremely flimsy and has fallen off a couple times but easily reattaches. I got this to stick in my hiking pack for emergencies only so it will do it's job. If you need something nice for regular use this isn't it.

Received this as a gift, was skeptical at first as it looked cheap and there were marks/scratches on the silver finish. Initially had trouble figuring out how to open the battery compartment as it wouldn't slide up as the arrow directed until I had to apply greater force than should be expected to open it. On installing the included batteries and closing up the back cover, I found it wouldn't turn on. 2nd guessing myself that I had installed the 3 batteries incorrectly, I reopened the back cover to find the battery installation was correct, but on taking the batteries out to check contacts, 2 of the 3 batteries were VERY HOT (they had only been in the compartment a matter of only 2 or 3 minutes. I fear that this is one is defective and potentially a fire/safety hazard and a piece of junk!
