This book has an adorable and engaging introduction to first aid skills for kids! It also allows them to get familiar with health worker jobs and teamwork.Our child, who is almost 4 years old, was hooked immediately by the animal characters and wanted to know what happened to each of them.Then asked to read the book the following day and wanted to recreate the bear at home! Ready to help anyone with a scratch or who had bumped their head.It may sound simple but to learn these skills at a young age can help so many lives.We highly recommend parents, carers and teachers to share Marta Almansa’s book with young kids!

This is a great book for young children to learn basic first aid, and will help them become acquainted with how to call for help when necessary and give them an understanding of what to do if someone is hurt.The characters in the book are really cute, and eye catching to keep children’s attention.In particularly I liked the pages where you can write information (address/emergency telephone number) so that the children have something to go to and remind them should they ever need to call the emergency services.

Recommend this book. The characters are child friendly and it has useful examples in. My children thought it was cute and would be very useful to have in the home to discuss basic first aid with younger ones. The book was great as it is written specifically for children and the examples mentioned are such important life skills that everyone regardless of age should have a little awareness about them and what to do in a potential emergency. I think this book is very useful to accustom young children to the various people they would meet at the hospital or doctor's surgery. Also the practical advice for simple first aid and how to call emergency services is simple to understand.I don't think it's meant for a child to read on their own as all the text is in upper case. This is my only criticism.

A fun little book with a real purpose.As a first aider and first aid trainer, this book will be a brilliant tool for helping to teach youngsters the basics of first aid. The explanations are clear and the illustrations are great fun. I love the idea of using story to help with learning, especially with such an important topic.Every child in the world should have a copy of this book!

This book is easy to read and for children to understand about the basics of first aid. The characters are fun and art work bright and colourful. As a nurse myself I liked the descriptions of the professionals and their roles. I will refer to this book during my work with children and young people.

I think this is a very lovely book easy to understand for little ones. I like the idea of putting the details in the book so if they needed to call they wouldn't panic trying to remember. The characters are very cute and they make for lovely conversation. Definitely one to recommand.

I love the illustrations in this book, they are cute and endearing to children it is very Child friendly and the instructions for basic first aid are clear and easy to follow. I think having the option to add in the details for phone numbers and addresses is a great idea.

As a school nurse, this book is perfect for beginning of the year preschool and Kindergarten presentations. It's a much easier way to explain what I do in a way that they can understand. I love how it incorporates different tools that I can also bring for them to see in real life. Such a fun, educational book!

Este libro es fantástico. Los personajes son súper bonitos y a mí peque le encantan, cómo están explicadas las cosas y lo que hacen los personajes engancha a los niños. Son un referente a la hora de explicar muchas cosas. La verdad es que los libros de Marta nunca defraudan. Estoy deseando que saque más. Lo recomiendo 100%.

It's a good intro to first aid for kids, it keeps it simple and "fun"! The illustration and font could be better though.

I really enjoy this author's use of clay models for her images. Very unique and cute. The book is very informative on what nurses do and how they help you feel better. Good for children to know how they're treated when hurt or sick and also good for children that may be interested in one day going into the medical field. I also appreciated the fill in pages where you can input your local emergency number, address, and what you may be allergic to. Definitely recommend.
