Mr.Shield[3-PACK] Designed For Samsung Galaxy Note 5 [Tempered Glass] Screen Protector with Lifetime Replacement

The Galaxy Note 5's screen is very slightly curved at the edges, and that presents a problem for glass screen protectors. Because of this, the Mr.Shield screen protector for the Galaxy Note 5 deliberately does not extend all the way to the edges of the screen. Nevertheless, despite this it did not adhere all the way to its own edge; there is about a 1.5mm border all around the entire edge of the screen protector, even where it lies on flat screen, where it has not adhered. It's not clear quite what the problem is here. Possibly the silicone-oil-based adhesive on this one is a little thin towards the edges of the glass? Anyway, this slight lack of adherence around the edge is what costs this screen protector its fifth star. If I could dock it only half a point for that, I would.Nevertheless, it works, and works well. I did not get it PERFECTLY lined up on my first try — it could stand to be about 1mm further right at the bottom end of the screen — but it does not block or obstruct anything. As is my standard technique, I applied it in the shower, where the air is very moist and steamy but totally dust-free because of it, and got a perfect clean application. (Of course, then I tried to lift it to re-align it, and as is always the way with screen protectors, the more times you lift it the more dust gets under it, and now it looks like hell. Ah well, I have three. I can try again.)Like any ballistic glass screen protector, this will do nothing significant to reduce screen glare. However it also won't INCREASE it, and unlike most anti-glare plastic film screen protectors, it won't blur or matte your screen.Two Technical Thug thumbs up.

I have been using tempered glass screen protectors for a couple years and love them. I swear, they have saved my screen multiple times. I had one on my phone, but a few weeks ago I dropped my phone and it cracked. When this happens it literally looks like your screen is cracked. I pulled it off and my screen was perfect, just the tempered glass protector was cracked. I ordered this 3 pack as a replacement and so I would have a few spares.This screen protector is a great value. I paid $6.95 for the 3 pack, which is very, very reasonable. The instructions go over the steps. Here it is in a nutshell. Wash hands. Place protector WITH the back still on over the phone. Use the included stickers to tape it on there. They act as hinge so the protector goes exactly where you placed it. Lay the screen protector back, so it's hinged. Clean the screen with alcohol wipes and then "microfiber cloth". There's also a dust sticker which I don't use. Then take the backing off the protector and lay it down. Push in the middle and watch it adhere. There's an included squeegee to help get any bubbles out. This type of protector doesn't leave bubbles like old school ones.There is a small gap at the sides, which has been the same as with every other protector I've got. It's because on the edge of the screen the phone rounds out. Since the protector isn't flexible, it can't adhere to that, so it's a tiny bit smaller. It covers my whole screen.

I tried several times to make the screen protector fit on my Samsung Note 5 but the cutouts just didn't align up to my phone. I then realized they sent me the wrong ones as they were made for an entirely different phone. I called Amazon and they sent me the correct ones out right away at no charge and didn't request that I send the wrong ones back, which was nice that I didn't have to take time out of my day to repackage them or drive to a UPS store. The Installation was easy and I got it perfect on the 1st try. (Use the little tape strips as instructed, it helps hold it in place for an even alignment). The instructions were easy except for step #4 which I still don't understand what "Clean the left liquid means? I don't have a 2nd phone to be able to take a picture of my phone to show the screen protector on it but it doesn't matter anyway as the fit is so good that you can't see anything on my screen. Its crystal clear and just looks and feels like there's nothing there but my screen.Great Product! I'm impressed!
