Earpadz Replacement for Philips SHP9500 HiFi Precision Stereo Over Ear Headhones (Midnight)

Before I bought these pads, I bought a pair of Misodiko earpads. They were a hybrid of leather and velour. The leather is probably what killed the sound quality since they sounded muddy and under-detailed. These earpads from Dekoni sound much closer to the original earpads for the SHP9500.There are minor differences, like the treble sounding SLIGHTLY recessed, that I don't really care about since I mainly bought these to replace my worn out earpads (and so that I could use my computer without an EQ enabled). The one main thing is that these sit a little closer to your ears than the original Philips pads. But if that doesn't bother you, and your earpads are wearing out, give them a go. They're still going to sound plenty bright if that's what you liked about your shp's.

I opened these and immediately noticed how thin the cushions were compared to the original then I noticed large wrinkles on both cushions. If you care at all how your headphones look I wouldn't get these.

These replacement ear pads are great! I like them better than the original fabric pads. Once I figured out the secret for popping off the old pads, then it was a simple literal snap to put on the new pads. I used the flat tip of a butter knife to pry off the old pads. It just took me quite a while to find the right place to stick the knife blade, but when I did then the process was done in about a minute.

Material makes a bit more noise when you move around, but other than that its just like the pads the earphones come with.

Audio quality with these is basically the same as the stock SHP9500 pads. What kills them for me right off the bat is the noise they make as they move/slide against my head, it's a louder and annoying sound vs the relatively muted sound from the stock pads.

I bought these pads to attempt to alleviate the sweaty and itch’s stock pads only to realize these are more itchy the the originals. Wish I would have bought the midnight versions instead.

Los utilicé para reemplazar los pads originales de mis audífonos Philips SHP9500 que ya estaban muy desgastados. Se instalan fácilmente y están bastante cómodos, pensé que iban a ser más calurosos por ser de piel sintética pero la verdad es que no lo han sido. Muy recomendables.
