Yes, this model of the Display Unit is supporting the True Tone function as the manufacturer applied the original IC in the back of the LCD. To Access the Ture Tone function, you will need to get a little device name as ' QianLi iCopy'. Then use this device to copy the original LCD serial number into our screen replacement. Then you can use the Ture Tone function on this new screen replacement. If you don't have ' QianLi iCopy' you can go to the phone repair shop to ask them to help you do it.

does this fix face id

If your FaceID has stopped working, then there is a fault between the pairing of the phone and the dot projector / FaceID system. Only Apple can re-programme it. It’s a security feature.

I have an iphone x. bought the screen, but it has brackets inside the inner edge that the old one does not. i def have an iphone x - help?

The replacement screen consists of the glass and a metal bevel with brackets. When you removed the old screen, you must have inserted the pry tool between the glass and the metal bevel and removed just the glass, leaving the bevel attached to the body of the phone. You need to remove the bevel from the phone by running the pry tool around it again. I did exactly the same thing ;)
