A favorite among Timber Hawk field testers, the Rut Buster is the perfect mid-size daypack for archery or rifle season. Bring whatever you need, and you'll still have plenty of room to stow those extra layers you peel off as the day warms. Hydration compatible - reservoir not included.

Great pack
I just finished a week in Wyoming using this as my day pack. It has just the right weight and capacity to give you a place to stow warm gear as the day warms up. The belt pockets were just the right size for a rangefinder and the phone/radio pocket was handy. If I offer one criticism, it is that the phone pocket kept sliding down when the chest strap is unbuckled. The binocular straps were awesome. And after I got my deer, I put my DSLR camera on them to do a different kind of shooting. The pack is super quiet, very comfortable, breathes well. Other than the phone holder issue, it was perfect.

Great pack
Absolutely love this pack. It was a little larger than I expected, but not so big that it's "too much". I use it for bow hunting. It does not have straps to carry a bow. It has 4 zip compartments, one large with a pocket for a hydration pack, two good sized with different mesh compartments to hold gear, and one smaller on top. Super quiet material. There are 3 small zip pockets one the waist belt and shoulder strap for phone and other small things you want access to without having to remove the pack. My iPhone 6 fits the phone pocket perfectly. Quality made materials. I've stuffed a seat cushion in it and was able to zip it up without worrying about the zipper coming apart. Very happy with this purchase!

Great pack at a great price!
I used this pack extensively for deer archery and gun season here in Florida this year. The pack holds everything I put in it and still has room left for much more. Has many storage compartments and will also hold a bow securely. I haven't used the bino harness yet, but will set it up for next season for sure. The whistle on the chest strap is pretty loud btw; I was surprised when my son blew into it and nearly blew my eardrum out.

Torn seam
The size is perfect and appears to be great. I bought as a gift for my husband for Christmas. He decided to put fishing stuff in here for when we go to the Sierras and fish. Unfortunately, we haven't had a chance to go yet and we just noticed there is a seam that has come undone. It barely has anything in it, so definitely not "over packed". I will contact Amazon as I dont know if there is a warranty on this for something like this. We are bummed as it seemed to be the perfect pack. Hoping we just got a lemon and it's not a common thing as we were planning to pick up another one.We contacted Amazon- they will replace it. Another great reason to choose items sold and fulfilled by Amazon!
