Bought this hoping it would help me keep an eye on the temperature while not having to keep opening the oven. It failed miserably.The probe did not work, no signal coming from it at all. I successfully paired it with the phone, not sure if it connected with their app as it never reported any temperature readings.While discussing the app, it is absolutely not intuitive. There are no instructions or settings, I couldn’t set any temperature to try and reach or save it. As there were no readings coming back from the useless probe I guess it just sat there at zero the whole time.I tried contacting the seller/manufacturer and that was also a fail. No response. No customer support.This purchase was an epic fail on every level possible. I completely recommend a hard pass if you are even remotely thinking of buying it.

Horribly inaccurate. First thing I used this probe on was a pork loin - the app beeped after half hour telling me my pork loin was at 145degrees already. I thought “no way”, went out and checked and of course, the pork was still completely raw like I expected..I pulled the probe out and reinserted to make sure it was in correct (all the way in, wasn’t poking through the meat, etc) and it still gave me a completely false reading. This happened again with my T-bone steaks. Also, the range on this thing for the app is literally 10 feet. I can barely get inside my house before it beeps that I’ve been disconnected. Guess I’ll just stick the probe connected to my grill. I would recommend saving your money and not buying this...or spend a few more bucks and get a better quality one.

Seems to work great so far! Took a bit of time to figure out how the Bluetooth connection works. The app works fine for me, though there a few interface oddities that could be improved. (the "Done" indicator is always present in grey, turning red when the selected item is actually at temperature, which is a little confusing on first glance).

It was working fine for a couple of weeks and then it just stopped connecting to my phone. It turns on and connects to the Bluetooth but keeps saying that there's a "one way connection" and it won't start reading the temperature. I haven't changed my wifi or phone or anything like that. It just suddenly stopped. I was sure to turn it off after each use so it's not a matter of low battery. The fact that it just stopped working out of no where makes me never want to buy a product from NutriChef. 20 bucks flushed down the toilet! Trash product.
