Such rich oils…..very thick and covers well…..these might be my new favorite paints…

This paint is okay for blending but as far as trying to use the wet on wet technique, it is awful. You just can't get the desired effect of layering the colors. Everything just kept blending into one color.

I am happy with my order of the PHOENIX Artist Grade Oil Paint Set. My son is studying oils in art class and this is a great paint set for him to use. The colors are very vibrant and blend with walnut and linseed oil just fine and evenly. The colors blend well as they are well-coordinated. The colors are opaque and take to ground very well. I appreciate that each tube contains 40ml of paint, which proves to be a great value for the set. These dry in the amount of time we expect from oils.
