I travel 40,000 miles per year, every year pandemic or not. I am a big-time sports fan and I love going to games and other cities.This often means I need to fly out on a Friday, and back on a Sunday. When you do such little trips, you want to be as efficient as possible and how you pack. Typically, I rock a backpack with two changes of clothes, sundries, and maybe some chargers and other assorted things.I use a very small backpack and one of these bad boys. Except for a second pair of jeans, everything else clothing-wise including sweatshirts goes in one of these bags. I'm able to put one of these bags and a pair of jeans into a standard book bag and that's how I travel to most of these games.Once a year i scratch my March madness itch. Either I go and watch several conference championships in Vegas for a week, or the following week I catch the opening round of 64 and one of the regionals.I take two of these bags and put them into a slightly larger backpack That's about 40l (look up the pacsafe vibe 40) and actually passes as an underseat storage capable item, but it really wouldn't be considered a personal item. It fits under the seat, but it counts as Your one carry on. Two of these bags fits in there like a champ, or if you go to the nomatc website One of their larger ones will fit as well with room to spare. I used two because I could use one for dirty laundry and the other one for clean.Another thing I've used one of these for is in cold weather territory. When it's cold, I shove my heavy thick jacket in and collapse it down to a small size once I get to the airport and I am usually able to get it into my carry-on.These are fantastic items and if you get one, you'll see how awesome it is and you'll end up buying more. I now own four of these. Three of the smaller ones like you see here, and one of the older model larger ones.

The NOMATIC brand is known for quality stuff. I was very interested to try this as a way to compress out a couple of packing cubes in my bag to gain a little bit more space on a trip. The packaging and build-quality seemed pretty nice. Loaded it up with 2 blankets and sealed, rolled, buckled, opened the valve, compressed the air out, sealed it up and it seemed perfect. But I let it sit over night and by the next morning, it was clear there wasn't an actual seal and it had taken in air back to a neutral state, basically not saving any space over the folded blankets by themselves.Returned the bag and will stick with a traditional roll-top dry/vacuum bags like Sea to Summit.

I loved this product. I bought it earlier this year to use on a two week long trip out west. I’m currently on my second trip, and the bad ripped along the top seam. Before right now, I loved it, but it should last more than a few months.

loaded several items for compression and lifted the bag to shake items down. well the bag and closure system ripped and separated. garbage.
