Pentel PTS15 Fabric Fun Pastel Dye Sticks - Pack of 15

I drew butterfly wings on the backs of a couple of t-shirts I made for a pair of miniature poodles for a parade. They turned out very well. You have to be careful not to smear what you’re working on with the side of your hand.

I used these to have novice artists draw on quilt blocks for a memory quilt. The colors were bright and set well with ironing. The quilt turned out better than expected and the fabric crayons inspired the fabrics chosen.

These work out great on my embroidery pillow cases. I like the way that they look and are so easy to use.

Para los artistas que les gusta pintar en pastel, que quieren hacer combinaciones de colores, y crear efectos, son ideales, muy maleables y creas un efecto precioso en los dibujos, luego se plancha y se adhiere a la tela. Eso sí los colores van perdiendo con los lavados.

I love these and have been using them for years. It started when my youngest wanted to be Ronald Dahl's Matilda for World Book Day at school, and we thought that just a pretty dress and a red ribbon in her hair wouldn't be obvious enough.Instead we bought a cheap plain white T Shirt and drew a design from the cover of the book, coloured in with the dye sticks.The colours are great and it's so easy to use. Then to set the design in place you just put some clean paper over the top and iron on a high heat.Works a treat. The kids have been using them ever since, to design their own T Shirts and it's a great project for a rainy day in the school holidays too.
