Very nice for the price!
Ok, I was a little skeptical about this tortoise shell pickguard. So for 9.99 I'd figure I'd give it a shot instead of paying 40-60 dollars for a real tortoise shell pickguard. No, it's not a real tortoise shell pickguard, but you tell me if you can tell that's it not from the pic. It looks really good and I was pleasantly surprised when I put this on my new Jazz Bass build. Now keep in mind that this was a build and I didn't have any pre-drilled holes that needed to match up. I cannot say that the holes will line up with a jazz bass that already has a pickguard on it, but for 10 bucks it's worth a shot. The bottom line is it's a nice quality pickguard that I would recommend.

Awesome! (Pro tip inside)
Pretty standard fit. I see a lot of people struggling to fit their pickguards without mods. Maybe this is common knowledge? However I have replaced many pickguards and I learned a great trick/tip from a friend. When you are applying the new pickguard, loosen the screws on the volume/ tone plate. It gives you enough play to fit perfectly fit the pickguard!!The only negative I can say is when I received the picguard it was somewhat warped. However that easily went away when I screwed it down!

Real Cellulose is Expensive.
It's a cheap printed pickguard. It's 3 ply, so that's nice.Bought it for a Squier Vintage Modified Fretless Jazz Bass, so it didn't fit. SO I MADE IT FIT. The plastic is quite hard and durable. Took a long time to sand it down.

Perfect fit!
I ordered the white pearl pickguard for my 2013 Squier Jazz bass and it is a perfect fit.It fits just like the original and lined up with the existing holes. No gaps around the neck or pickup and no sanding or drilling required. The finish on the pickguard itself looks great. They even included a set of screws.

looks great. I had to dremel the pickup opening a little wider to fit. I wish you had a dark purple, this one was a little more lavender than I would have preferred.

Very delicate. Breaks easily.
Excited to add this to my American Fender Jazz Bass. Fit ok but broke upon installation. The angle between the volume/tone control panel is very tight. When attaching the screw, the pickguard snapped. Very brittle. Also, do not overtighten to bass as the pressure will wrinkle the mirror finish at every screw. Disappointed, but it will work.

Doesn't fit
Item does not even come close to fitting my 1998 fender american deluxe jazz bass. Way too large. Made and sent from China and feels cheaply made. Only out $8.00, though.

Works great!
I bought the black/white/black version for a 2010 MIM Jazz Bass. Surprisingly, it fits better than the factory pickguard! Mine came with two layers of peel-off plastic, which confused me a bit at first.
