Fun walking puppy, no batteries needed!
My six year old son picked this out and asked to post a review on it. He loves this puppy, here's why.... It's a great size, not too small. His body is soft and comfortable to hold (the legs are hard from springs inside). The bell on the collar is not too loud. The walking motion is satisfactory. No batteries are needed! Leash is long enough for a tall six year old to walk with.

Dogs thought the way it walked, it was real lol.
Love this dog. The way it walks looks like a real dog lol. Our two dogs followed and sniffed it the first time my great granddaughter walked it and we have to keep it out up so they don't play with it. Autumn walks it and races it around the room with her holding its leash. We have rugs and wooden floors and it works on both. It walks cuter on the rug but works fine on the wood floors too. So much fun for her.

6 year old even loves! Open-ended toy!
Super cute!!! It bounces along the carpet best, but does okay on tile flooring. My 4 year old doesn't notice a difference. The string (leash) is pretty short so I am going to sew another piece to it to give it length. His little bell jingles and I love that it does not take batteries. My girls pretend to feed him and take him to the vet, so it also offers lots of open-ended play.

She couldn't wait to open it!
This puppy was absolutely adorable and a major win! I just have to share the whole experience with you!Last weekend when my niece opened this gift, her face was a mix of confusion and surprise (maybe she thought it was real? she is only two!!) She was told she couldn't open the box all the way until everyone finished opening their gifts. So she began to pet the dog and somehow pulled the leash out of the box and was pulling the box around by it's leash (it was so cute and she did technically obey the rules!). Her mom said "My daughter is pulling a box by a leash, I think y'all did a great job!"When she was allowed to open it, I realized how it worked. The feet are rubber which form a traction with the floor, giving the appearance of the dog walking (I originally bought this thinking that it was battery operated. It is not, which makes it even better.) She walked around the house for a long time walking the dog, occasionally turning around to pet him and to tell him to "sit." He doesn't actually sit, but that's okay!It was honestly the cutest thing, and the most perfect gift for our niece who is OBSESSED with dogs! I highly recommend this gift!

I am glad we did
My daughter loves this dog! We were planning to go for those that are very expensive but read the reviews for this one and decided to give it a try. I am glad we did, she loves how this dog walks with her (no batteries!) and it is soft, you can still feel wires in the legs but it is still softer that those with batteries, therefore she also hugs this dog a lot.
