Standard Motor Products V399 PCV Valve Assorted, One Size

Product was a perfect fit. Please note that on the Maxima this is mounted at the backside of the engine (passenger firewall). It is a tight spot to get into and requires disconnecting some hoses and wiring harnesses. I’m giving a 1 star for ease of installation, not because of the product but because of the vehicle. If this were an Infinity 3.5l engine, for example, the rating would be higher.

Well, not much to say except that it works as expected. The old one is 130k miles old and it’s way over due for replacement. So this one goes in and works as expected

East to install and a must on all high mileage vehicles. Your engine will thank you when it can breathe again.

During installation, the pcv valve broke with no effort at all. It had no signs of being tight before it just effortlessly snapped in half. I almost ruined my valve cover due to the threads being stuck in with no bolt head to remove them.

Replaced my existing PCV Valve when my mechanic was having to do some engine work and was already replacing my valve covers, gaskets, intake gasket, spark plugs and ignition coils. Figured might as well get a new one, though I could have had him clean the existing one, which was 12 years old and its really a plastic part so wanted to just replace it given the small cost.No issues so far, working as supposed to in my 2005 Nissan Altima 3.5l.
