Very THIN pipe.
I got this to replace a plastic P-trap pipe in my bathroom, and also add a little bit of class because it's a pedestal sink where the pipes are exposed from the side. First thing to note, this pipe is VERY THIN. Thin to the point of you can bend one of the openings with your thumb and index finger if you wanted to.Now, as far as assembly - the good news is, this is everything you need for a P-trap and also gives you one of these new fandangled pop-up drain plugs. I've gotten into these for a couple reasons. First, the old-school pull up the stick drain plugs we've removed the top cap since it gets bogged down and even when those are opened, the water drains too slowly. I've noticed on any pop-up drains I've replaced, there are 0 issues with water draining slowly. Another thing that I will appreciate later on in life, is the old drain pipes I've had to replace had an upper threaded part onto a lower threaded part, and by the time you want to replace it, you'll never be able to separate them. On any change of my previous bathroom sinks, I have to bend up the flared edges and completely destroy the previous drain to remove it. Since this type of drain is simply one nut on the bottom, future disassembly (assuming you have the right tool (large basin wrench), should be a breeze. One thing that was different to me, is the wall plug this comes with seems to be some kind of strange ribbed rubber grommet that it looks like to me is supposed to be jammed into your drain pipe and maybe just held in with the flange? I'm not sure, but I have PVC pipe with threads coming out of my wall, so I had to keep a threaded ring from my old pipes to attach this to my house drain pipe.Another thing worth mentioning, is since the pipe is so thin, I cut it easily with a metal cutting saw, but the thinness of the metal caused flat burrs all over the place. After I made the necessary cuts, I probably spent 5-10mins in total filing all the burrs and sanding them smooth so they don't retain any debris.Oh, another thing again worth mentioning, is the gaskets seem pretty flimsy with this - time will tell how long they will hold up and if that will be an issue or not. When I installed the drain with the nut on the bottom the first time (also since I have the overflow cuts), I had a tiny leak coming down the threads of the drain. Annoyingly, I had to remove it and reinstall it. I put teflon tape where the large nut goes, and now had no leaks. On final assembly, there were no additional leaks. The good thing is this is a kit that replaces your drain and p-trap, and is chrome so it looks nice. Just note how your wall pipe is, because you may need to salvage some old parts or get a couple new parts to connect this to your wall pipe. The bad news is the pipe is very thing and parts seem notably flimsy, but time will tell when (NOT IF) that will be an issue. Good luck!

Measure FIRST!
The size options for this type of plumbing is usually 1 1/4in or 1 1/2in pipe. Though there are standards for bathroom vs kitchen sinks, your sink may not follow the standard. As far as the item- though it is aesthetically pleasing, it is extremely thin. Feels low quality and like it is not sturdy enough. My pipes are exposed which is why I wanted the p trap to be gold to begin with, but it feels like it could easily be knocked out of place after instillation. I returned it.

Stopper is great
I really like the stopper. It alone is worth the 5 stars. The circumference of the stopper that is visible in the sink is a bit larger than other standard stoppers that I have installed, but I like how it looks in the sink. It is super easy to push down to stop water from draining, and then push it again to pop it back up. It comes with gaskets for both the top of the drain and under the sink so there is no need for plumbers putty. The p-trap and other parts that come in the box are a bit sketchy on the other hand. The tubing is super thin, as others have stated, and the rubber gaskets are questionable. Also, my kit did not include the rubber piece to connect it to the drain pipe coming out of the wall, though I probably would have opted for something that physically clamps anyhow. My setup is not visible so I didn't necessarily need the chrome look so I just used a PVC kit under the sink. I do think the entire kit would work, but I think your drain and wall pipe would have to align perfectly for this kit. Also, the p-trap seems awfully small and I would question how quickly it will get clogged.Still, the stopper alone is worth the money and stars in my opinion.

Too thin
It's gorgeous but unfortunately the standard sink needs it to be a thicker drain if you want your drain to drain properly.

Very high quality pipe and stopper
First let me say that I got this and it turns out it was the wrong size for my sink, which of course is totally on me. HOWEVER, I still had the item when I bought the right size part from the big box store and let me tell you, the difference in quality was unbelieveable. This GORDEE set is probably the most well-made drain pipe and stopper that I've ever seen. It costs a little more than the chintzy one I ended up buying, but it looks like it will last forever. My old pipe was one of those cheapo ones and it had actually rusted right through in the trap part. But the pipe on this unit was at least twice as thick with superior plating so I think that it would last a seriously long time. So two lessons: first, measure twice, buy once; and second, if this unit fits your sink, buy it---you will be impressed with the old-world-style quality.

Easy To Use If You Know What You Are Doing
I ordered this kit to replace old pipes in my bathroom sink. This kit came with everything I needed to replace the pipes for my pedestal bathroom sink. If you don't have any plumbing knowledge you may want to watch an instructional video on YouTube because this kit does not come with any instructions. The kit does come with a scan code so you can use that for directions as well. I know how to plumb a sink so I did not bother with the instructions. The pipes are brass with a chrome coating to make them look more attractive. The drain plug system is great with a simple push button design that is easy to install and use.The kit seems solid enough to last for a good amount of time, but I don't have years to test it to be certain. If you are looking for an all-in-one kit for a sink you may want to check out this kit.

Not really brass
Was expecting a shade of brass close to the photos online but what arrived is almost chrome? It doesn’t look brass at all so I’m not sure if we got the wrong one or if this is just how it is.Either way it doesn’t “match” any of our other brass plumbing and fixtures like we hoped
