You get what you pay for... or do you?
I really like this phone. I've been a fan of Blu since the Studio 5.0 C. I picked that up about 6 years ago. It's still around here in a drawer somewhere. Not a lot has changed about Blu since those days from a customer perspective. They are still providing good value for your purchasing power. I love unlocked phones. I don't like to have my phone locked to a single company and enjoy the freedom to take my phone and leave if I want. I'm glad they have not deviated from this approach. The G91 is a great budget alternative that takes its design cues from the big dogs.Design: I picked the green version and it's really nice. The front has a large screen with tiny bezels and has a hole-punch camera in the top left corner. There is a tiny chin on the bottom, but otherwise it's almost all screen. The back is a slightly grippy plastic and holds well in the hand. Also, Blu includes a nice smokey clear case that still shows off the phone as well.Screen: This is one area where I had a major concern. It states HD+ and I wasn't thinking about this when I ordered. When I think HD I think 1080p, but the new standard is HD = 720p. I've been using the phone for the better part of a week and the screen resolution is hardly noticeable. None of the content I've watched looks jaggy. It all looks great. The IPS panel on this phone is sharp and has great colors. I'm sure if I was doing more gaming it would be an issue.Performance: This is another area where I was surprised. This uses a MediaTek Helio A25 processor. Usually people want to see a Snapdragon processor, but MediaTek has made large strides in quality of their processors. This is an octa-core processor and handles multitasking fairly well. Every once in a while I'll have a minor lag when jumping between tasks and games, but overall it is very snappy. Speaker and call quality is good as well. I mentioned above it comes with a case, however it also comes with earbuds. They are a similar design to apple's earpods. They are not quite to the same standard, but are really good for an included accessory. Becasue they are not enclosed you won't get super bass, but the mids and highs are really nice.Battery: It comes with a 5000 mAh battery. I've used it for 3 days without charging with daily media consumption. It really shines in this department. Some of the factors that really help here are the screen resolution and the power-sipping nature of the MediaTek processor.Camera: Well, it can't do everything amazingly at this price, can it? Eh, while Blu is by no means bad at implementing cameras, this is no Samsung or Pixel. Pics are good in sunlight and decent in low-light environments. Even night mode is decent. Again, for the price my expectations are not high and this does exceed them, but my daily driver is a Pixel 4a 5G and there's no comparison. I've recently used the OnePlus Nord N10 5G and I will say the camera is better implemented here on the Blu G91.Cellular: I haven't done a lot of calling, but I've tried my Cricket, Tmobile, and Redpocket, SIMs in this phone and they each worked fine. No dropped calls or trouble connecting. Overall I would whole-heartedly recommend this phone looking for the features of a mid-range phone at a budget price. Especially if you don't want to be locked to a particular cell phone provider.Have a blessed day!

Blu G91 is a phenomenal phone for the price!
(For some silly reason, Amazon combines reviews for 4 totally unrelated Blu phones with COMPLETELY different specs: G50, G50 Mega, G71, G91, making the average star rating entirely meaningless. So make sure you read the "Style" after the review heading to know which phone the reviewer is talking about. This review is for the G91 ONLY.)The Blu G91 phone works very well and is a steal at the price. Here are (a) positives, (b) negatives and (c) differences between this and the similar G90 Pro phone with similar specs.(a) Positives+ Lots of memory and storage+ Separate slots for 2 SIM cards and 1 SD card all simultaneously+ Android 10+ Long battery life(b) Negatives+ No rapid charger (but charges completely overnight, and lasts 2 days)(c) Differences from G90 ProThey are more similar than different: Both have 2 SIM + 1 SD card slots, both have 128GB/4GB memory, both have 6.5" screen size and weight and thickness are very similar. The G90 has the following that the G91 does not:+ Rapid charging+ 1080p resolution (G91 has 720p but would be hard to notice the difference)+ Faster processor (I don't notice the difference but gamers might)+ Heavy duty black case vs. slimmer silicone case (supposed to be a positive though I prefer the silicone case of the G91)Note that the Amazon listing for both G90 Pro and G91 say that they are "not compatible with new AT&T or Cricket activations," but it is not clear how true this is and what "new activation" means (is putting an existing SIM into a new phone a "new activation"? -- some seem to have had problems with this). All I know is that my existing account with AT&T worked just fine with my G90 Pro even though I had to replace the SIM card (I later ported my number to T-Mobile anyway, for unrelated reasons). The reason for this, which I tracked down, is that AT&T is phasing out their 3G network by 2022, so that they are no longer activating new service on phones that do not support Voice over 4G LTE (called VoLTE), which is how all voice will be carried on their network in the future. My G90 has a setting "Enhanced 4G LTE Mode (Recommended)" which I'm guessing is VoLTE. T-Mobile explicitly recognized the IMEI of the phone as being VoLTE-compatible but AT&T does not list any Blu phone in their "official" list of VoLTE-supported phones which, surprise surprise, focusses on phones that AT&T sells. So ... until we can get more clarity on this you may want to choose a GSM carrier other than AT&T or Cricket if you want to use Blu phones.

Slow Battery Charge
This phone is good for the price, but I have noticed a couple of flaws during my first week of usage.1) The battery charge is slow: One night, I drained my battery down to 2% and charged it while I slept. I woke up 7-8 hours later and it only charged to 66%. As you can see in the screenshot I took, the phone was at 72% with an estimated 3 hours left until fully charged. It took about 2 hours to fully charge my last phone (Pixel XL 1). I've had my previous phone for 2 years and it was released in 2016, and it still charges faster than a phone made in 2021. Lastly, there are phones within the G91's price range that have fast charge capabilities so there really is no excuse for the G91 to not have them.2) Companies should clearly define what they mean by "3-day battery" instead of using it as a marketing ploy. Sure, the battery might last that long with minimal use (making the usual phone call or text messaging), but if you're using apps throughout the day, it won't even last half as long.
