This comes from south Korea, not China. A big plus to me.

Roots can be very good for you along with a well balanced diet. I love the flavor of red panax ginsing. It makes me strong. Strength is an important part of living to a ripe old age, along with a heart healthy diet and exercise.

We had high hopes for this brand & really want to support a USA company that is growing their own ginseng plants... But, the Red Panax Ginseng / 100% Korean Ginseng is not great. While it's inexpensive, how much does cost matter if the supplement is below standard? This product had little to no effect & also - capsules have a strange chemical smell. There are many very good products on the market which cost not much more than this one & so - we'll not continue use nor reorder. While we don't recommend this product, we will try their higher end, USA grown organic ginseng.

The recommended serving size is 2 capsules per day to deliver 1000mg of ginseng, making each bottle a little over a one month supply. Since it is known that the body starts building a resistance to ginseng, finishing off a bottle would be perfect to take a several week rest before starting up again.Although ginseng is generally safe to take as a supplement, because of its blood sugar lowering properties and ability to increase blood flow, people taking diabetes medication or anticoagulants should seek the advice of their health care professional before putting ginseng into their diet. Dosages of up to 3000mg per day for up to 3 months have been studied to be safe with minimal side effects, but higher dosages could lead to stomach issues, insomnia, headaches, dizziness and nervousness.Overall, I love ginseng and all the benefits that it can provide. Putting it in a capsule and bottling it makes it so convenient to take as well. Dairyland Management is a well-respected ginseng grower based in Wisconsin, and American ginseng gives people a choice of something that is not as stimulating as the Asian variety. I appreciate that this is manufactured in a US facility, and an Independent lab test with a COA would have made this a home run. I would recommend anyone looking to improve their health to take ginseng in moderation.

Each delivery has arrived in short order, with the packaging in great shape. Knowing the benefit of ginseng from previous use (primarily in teas), I am excited to see how these capsules perform.
