This is really well made. Brought for a holiday that never happened. But decided to keep ready for the next. Feels good in the hand. I am using a tsunami salt x 6000 with it. Close to the van staal.. Just not as expensive. I consider surf rods, throw away items due to where I use them. Mainly for holiday.. Never know what, where your be fishing. I learned a hard lesson buying a travel shimano Bx for £250.. Broke with not using it. Airport /case.. Who knows.. So budget is £100 reel I expect to keep longer. Obviously it's not a Saltiga.. Or will not perform like. If breaks.. You have not lost too much. Still yet to cast it. By all accounts it's an apsolute rocket. There's several reviews on the budget range of rods on utube. Remember when putting any expensive rod in your case.. It can be broke when you get back your case.

Good: Really sturdy rod with acceptable weight, with suitable lure/sinker, you can throw a very long distance.Not good: it's really hard, so the tip is not easy to catch the signal of biting, you need pay more attention to the movement of the tip.

fishing rod is great. but i bought 2 others and got the carrying case. why doesn't it have a protective box. so it is very easy to damage.

the rod looks good ,the carrying bag is very cheap,makes you wonder! i haven't tried it yet but so far it looks like it will do the job.
