No Enclosed Instructions/Need more washers
When I first opened the box, I got concerned. There were no instructions. However, I found one on YouTube that put me at ease. The unit is tapered lengthwise. But once you put the brackets on that match existing vehicle holes and bolts, you quickly see it only fits on one way. I would suggest that you purchase 12 additional washers as the amount of washers provided to not suffice. The slots on the runner are almost the size of the locking nuts and the bolt head is too small for the bracket forcing you to rethink the process. The one thing that I did have to do is rethread the nuts on the Jeep. They are 10 years old and the bolt would not work in easy and eventually I broke one of them having to drill it out. But when I used my tap and die kit, it was an easy project.

Nice Running Boards, but.....
I installed these on my Jeep a couple of years ago and then my driver's side running board cracked underneath, so I needed to order a new set. I got them and installed the driver's side and after only a week or so, I went to clean my windshield and stood where I always stand, next to the fender on the running board and it quickly gave way. I am not a real heavy guy, so don't think that. I was very surprised and disappointed at how easily it cracked. I contacted the company, and they did send not only a new one, but a whole new package, both sides, which was impressive, and I commend them for that. My worry is "will it happen again"? These are great running boards for the price. I would still buy them again, but I felt I needed to share my experience. Again, the company did great in getting me a replacement ASAP.

Cheap Product; Buyer Beware
While the running boards do fit a 2-door Jeep Wrangler, the quality of the product is extremely poor. The hardware is made of cheap quality, resulting in premature wear and easily breakable bolts with minimal torque. The ABS plastic appears to be of decent quality, though it flexes very easily. This could prove to be problematic with temperature change and constant UV exposure. Also, be careful when you order. Check your hardware before installation. I was sent a used product, as some of the hardware was stripped and there were scratches on the brackets and the bottom of the running boards. I returned this product shortly after attempting to install them on my Jeep. While this is an inexpensive part, it is of extremely poor quality. You definitely get what you pay for, but even $5 would be too much money for such a lousy product.

Good product, bad installation
Okay, first I'll list the negatives1. There were no installation instructions. You do not have to be a rocket scientist to figure it out, but it would have been nice to have a parts list and general instructions.2. Some brackets didn't fit well. I had to straighten 2 of the brackets. I had to rethread one of the studs on a bracket. I had to grind out one of the holes on a bracket so it would fit.3. Not enough washers to do the job properly. I used some of my own I had in my shop.Okay, now the positive. The running boards look great once you have them installed.Advice:1. Make sure the nuts that come with the running boards actually fit. Screw the nuts onto the studs on the brackets to make sure they are properly threaded. Then take the nuts back off the studs when you're ready to begin the installation. If you don't do this you'll waste time taking the bracket back off your vehicle.2. Leave all bolts and nuts loose until you complete putting the running boards on your vehicle. You'll need a little wiggle room for aligning the bolts. Then go back and tighten them down properly.Would I buy these boards again. I'd have to say yes. Just take your time and do the prep work up front and it'll save you time on the back end.
