Very sturdy. Can hold lots of books. My husband just needed my help to lean it, while assembling. Took about 45 minutes to put it together. I am glad I got this one.

The desk is not bad but it had two missing pieces and a defective piece. At the bottom of each of the six legs of the desk is a plastic insert with a threaded metal ring in the center that is meant for a levelling foot to be screwed into. On the unit I received two of the inserts were never installed at the factory and a third was installed but the metal center piece was not tapped with threads which made it impossible to attach the foot. The other three legs are fine.This was not discovered until everything was unpacked and I was a third of the way into assembly so it didn't make sense for me to attempt a refund for such a large and heavy item. I sent a request to the seller for replacement parts but did not receive a reply. Now I need to figure out how to level the unit and protect my floor from the exposed metal on the two legs that are missing the inserts.If I get a response and/or parts I'll update this review.
