I am flat out speechless, I thought perhaps the first trilogy might be something akin to beginner's luck, I honestly did NOT expect him to top the level of creativity and imagination that was in books 1-3, but man....now I have to take some time off before embarking on book 7, I HONESTLY HOPE AMAZON WOULD ALLOW FOR THE OMNIBUS COMBINED EDITION OF BOOKS 7-9!!!!!!!! HOLLYWOOD MIGHT REALLY WANT TO TURN THIS INTO A MOVIE!!!!!

Great Story
All of the Awakened series were very good. I find the story line to be Tolkien like. Tesar tells a great story. The books can be considered as Christian/fantasy/fiction. Tesar is setting up a world that looks a lot like the one described in Genesis and the Book of Enoch. However, the books are not so tied to scripture that one need fear of being converted. There are races of warring angels, hybrid Nephilim, and humans. There are parallel worlds but you need to read the books to figure that out. The adventures of the main character Ka'el are compelling and fast paced. There is lots of action making the books hard to put down. Every now and then a chapter is taken to tie the plot down but that helps one catch their breath. I really liked it.

Combines Edition With Combined Imagination And Technology
Having enjoyed the experience of the first three books in The Awakened series, I was both interested and intrigued by the contents and methods of authorship displayed in this three-book series. Anyone the least bit interested in The Awakened books will be easily satisfied by the excellent description of what I will call the combined story architecture in this series. Jason Tesar weaves a tale which is at once complex and simple. The simple is found in the behavior of the characters, whether the cooperation of allies or the conflict of adversaries. The complex is found in the description of technology, its application, and the motivation of the characters. The smooth, easily understandable descriptions of actions that combine ultra-modern with ancient environments keeps one on ones seat-edge while assuring the seat is as comfortable as possible. All of this is done with style reminiscent of Asimov, Bradbury, and Clarke. An excellent, satisfying read! On to book seven.

Great series--just not finished
I hate to ding the author, because it was a great series--Well-written and engaging. But, imagine buying an entire 6-book series just to find out there's no conclusion. It's marketed like a finished series so you'd never know. At the plateau of the action it ends. I look on Amazon to find out he's gone on to other projects, even written a prequel. I go to the author's site and it sounds like he intends to return to it (at some point) and finish with another 3-book series. Wait for this one to be finished before shelling out the cash.

Awesome, fantastic, can't get enough!!
This series is an incredible mind and body book putting you right at the very edge of each page like you were playing into the story. Full of class, smarts, and a book that could insist on a true story if you have an open mind like me. A must read.

A decent series with some religeous overtones.
The series is a good read but somewhat confusing initially. There are some religious overtones but non-denominational.The first book was free, and is worth getting prior to buying the remainder of the series. Thus far they have two bundles, books 1 to 3 and 4 to 6. The books can be purchased individually but I do recommend getting the free Book 1 in case this series is not for you.I am waiting to see if they have another bundle for the conclusion.

Much better than the first three
Very intriguing series. These three are written much better than the first three. Lots of interesting story lines and loved how the two worlds collided. The first three books it felt like Tesar was forcing you to know every feeling the characters had by spelling it out and not letting them tell it themselves. Much better this time around. The books are pretty short though and I think the whole six books could have been combined into just two.

These books are a continuation of the story of Kael ...
These books are a continuation of the story of Kael and Adair. In order to read this book you need to start at the beginning with book one otherwise it will be confusing, but it's well worth the read. These are sci-fi books about two different worlds and although sci-fi is not really my type of genre, I simply can't put these down and am almost ready to get book 7. Highly recommended

Great Read
Great read. Couldn't put it down. Some of the bits seemed to go into too much detail but skated through to get to the point. No great read.
