hard rubber can protect your ipad but case is a bit slippery because rubber is smooth, screen cover has felt on inside to protect your screen. cover when folded can support ipad on landscape orientation. apple pencil fits perfectly.

This is an amazingly well built case for iPad Pro 12.9'' with Pencil 2. The materials and craftsmanship are top notch. The iPad attaches to the case magnetically - perfectly aligned, parallel to all the edges. The magnets are really strong and capable of holding it well, unless you decide to yo yo it. The design has been well thought through and it has a very slip profile. Every other case we tried added bulk and a level of clumsiness and ugliness to the iPad. This one makes it looks better - sophisticated, modern, smart and practical. Holds the pencil securely as well.

I am highly impressed with the feel and quality of this case. Everything fits precisely as it should. It feels secure, the stand works well, and I'm not worried about the pencil getting lost. It came nicely packaged in a cardboard box with a rigid plastic tray with foam insert, so it wasn't damaged in transit. I'm glad I listened to the other reviews and got this case. I'm confident that it will do a great job protecting my expensive new iPad.

I absolutely swear by the ESR brand. They have the best customer service and high-quality products at affordable prices. This case could easily be 3x the cost (5x if there was an Apple logo on it)My biggest pet peeve about the apple folio case was that the apple pencil would always fall off in my bag. However, this one has a magnetic flap that holds the apple pencil in place, keeping it secure and charging!The material of the ESR case feels better to the touch, and seems more protective and sturdier than the Apple brand. I love the color options (but ESR please make more purple accessories! The "lavender" option for this one is a bit too muted/gray for my taste).
