Really soft and comfortable mask.
These arrived promptly and were a bright red. They were well packaged and very comfortable to wear as they are made of cotton and are lightly padded. They are made with a large back section held together with a Velcro strip so easy to put on and take off. The shut out all the light so a very good buy.

Velcro only lasts 6 weeks!
The mask is comfy and soft but the velcro only lasted 6 weeks and now the mask is useless!

Different and somewhat better than deep rigid masks
When I received these, I was a bit sceptical. Was expecting something wider and deeper. I get light-sensitive migraines and need to be in the dark when they occur. My favourite masks thus far have been deep, black ones with cut outs for the eyes (so can blink without the eyelashes touching the material - nice). They are slightly rigid, which makes sleeping on the side a little uncomfortable.I've a large head, and light seeps in around the nose with both the traditional style and these wrap-around masks. I felt the nose cut-out could be even deeper. The padding too could have been more generous, with depressions for the eye area. The velcro adjustment is OK - not too noisy, though I prefer the adjustable elastic of the traditional sort. These concerns disappeared once I needed to sleep in them. They are way more comfortable than my traditional, slightly rigid masks. They are now my "go to" masks - the ones I reach for (I have a selection hanging from the bed-post...So, they could be improved, but they are already better than my previous favourites, therefore highly recommended.

Inexpensive option, but could be better
I don’t use eye masks, but my wife does; she had rather a mixed reaction to this one.“This is made of very comfortable material, cotton as soft as butter with no chaffing, but unfortunately it bleeds light around the area of the nostrils; this makes it unsuitable for me to use, as I need total darkness to sleep. You can cut out a lot more light by pulling the mask further down your face, but that blocked my nose, which wasn’t acceptable. I am not particularly fond of the Velcro fastening either, as it catches in my hair, which is annoying. It has a small amount of stretch, which may help or hinder you, depending on the size of your head, how much you move during the night and your sleeping position. I sleep mostly on my front, and in this position the mask moves about during the night. It has some good features. It is slightly padded, so it is gentle on the eye area, and there are no hard parts which can press into your head if you move whilst asleep. The hanging loop is handy if the mask gets a bit damp during the night, as it can be hung up to air. It is also useful to have the earplugs supplied with it; I don’t need them for sleeping, but some people may.Not bad value, but there are several ways the design could easily be improved without extra cost.”

Leaks light slightly but very comfortable
This is soft and padded which makes it very comfortable but does mean it lacks the rigidity to keep it fitted tightly to my face abnd so it lets a little bit of light in.I found it tended to move out of position after a while of changing sleeping positions, but not badly. I was initially concerned that the feeling of it touching my eyes would be uncomfortable (unlike the ones that sit off your face slightly to keep it off the surface of your eyelids), but that hasn't bothered me in reality. It's well made and I like the adjustable velcro strap to get the best fit to your head.

Large, effective eye mask, a little bulky at the back of the head.
This is a very large eye mask and therefore it is very effective at keeping the light out of your eyes. The whole thing has a thin layer of padding which makes it comfortable to wear and the fabric has a fleecy texture which is soft against your face.Rather than have an elastic strap at the back, this eye mask stretches out to either side with its padded, fleecy format but has two long Velcro strips so as the two end overlap you can fasten them at just the right length for your head. I found that once I had this at the correct length I didn’t have to undo the Velcro but could just slide it on and off when I needed. The only thing I found was that because the material at the back of the head is a double thickness of padded material, it feels a bit thicker beneath my head and is less comfortable if I lie on my back with the back of my head on the pillow but it feels fine lying on my side. I suspect I’ll get more used to the back off my head thing as I use it.

More like a blindfold than a sleeping mask, comfy for short time
It's a nice mask, bigger than the many others Iv got so I was expecting a lot more. The quality of the material is good, lovely and silky. Stitching is ok, few loose rough threads but nothing to moan too much about. Strong velcro and it's a very lovely red.Due to the fact that it's still summer, the thickness of the material is making me uncomfortable. Hopefully be able to wear this in the colder months; should keep my ears warm In bed.
