I ordered the 5-variety pack. The texture and taste of the marshmallows is wonderful - except for the Birthday Cake flavor. It smells and tastes like Play-Doh. While I have been known to eat Play-Doh, that was many, many years ago as a toddler before my palate had a chance to develop. And let's face it, toddlers eat a variety of items that aren't necessarily intended to be food. Since that time, I have realized that Play-Doh is not suitable for consumption, nor is it tasty (I may have sampled Play-Doh once as an inebriated college student, but that doesn't count).The other issue I had was with the chocolate chip marshmallows. They are sooooo tasty, but they were next to the cold pack in the box and developed condensation inside the package, as I discovered upon opening and finding the marshmallows had morphed into one big, slightly damp and squishy marshmallow.But that Birthday Cake flavor. Seriously Hammond's Candies, demote the person(s) responsible for creating that flavor!

I really want to be able to recommend these marshmallows; however, they are way too sticky and difficult to remove from the packaging. I ended up keeping mine in the fridge and tearing off chunks, as needed. The taste is good and the consistency in my hot chocolate is good, they don’t melt too fast (maybe because they come straight from the fridge). But they really need to do a better job in the packing before I can give them 5 stars.I purchased these to use in my remaining stash of hot chocolate when I ran out of my preferred brand of marshmallows that are only offered seasonally between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

First tried from a package I bought at TJ Maxx for $3.99. That package seemed much fresher than the higher priced ones from Amazon. Nice low calorie treat.

Yeah these are expensive for what you get in the bag but they are absolutely delicious. Unfortunately I eat them too quickly, but they are the perfect treat.

These marshmallows are delicious! So glad to have them as a treat! Unfortunately, I live in the warm South (USA) and they didn't arrive looking pretty. I ordered 2 packages;they arrived rubber banded together...stuck in the package and squished. I will likely order these again, but I couldn't recommend them as a gift.

I thought the price was a bit on the high side.

Giving 2 stars because flavor is there - everything else- bleck.I have had these before that I purchased from REI. I was excited to see them here in bulk because they were a hit with my kiddos and an easy snack.The product I purchased at REI was MUCH better quality AND cheaper.From REI- in bite-size squares with a powder coating to keep from sticking together making it easy to remove from packaging and easy to eat- without a sticky mess. In addition, they were $5 for the bag.From Amazon, they are a sticky mess. Whatever moisture has gotten into the packaging has destroyed the quality of the marshmallows making them almost inedible. They are soggy and wet. In addition, the packaging has smashed all together making it stick to the sides of the inside of the bag- you have to strategically use a fork to fish out, and hope they don't rip apart in the process. Very disappointed and grossed out. We opened every package to see if the issue was specific to one and it's not.

I always wanted to try homemade marshmallows and finally took the plunge. There are none locally, so I ordered these and they are delicious.
