Must have for iPad ProI have 12.9 iPad Pro M1 2021 and works great.keep in mind you may see black panels on the left and right side of the screen on external monitor because of the resolution.Apps like Amazon prime video, Netflix videos are shown full screen without black panel.Having said that you can also use laptop to connect to external device.

Excellent foldable stand, iPad held securely. Charging and audio passthrough work great, no issues at all. Highly recommend.

In theory, this is a great product.In reality, it’s flawed and does not deliver as advertised. Only after contacting Satechi support three times did I get a clear answer.(See screenshot attached of their reply.)If you’re happy spending £90 on something that doesn’t actually charge your iPad while you’re using it, buy this. For me, that defeats the purpose of the item.Additionally, it’s quite poorly made. I had 2 (because I thought my initial order was faulty - the charging issue).My first one had a bad finish (many small ‘scratch’ marks on the surface - not really scratches, just a poor finish).My second one wobbled. The rubber “feet” on the bottom weren’t even. So, while my iPad was docked and while using a keyboard on my desk, the slight shake from my hands typing and moving on the desk caused the hub to wobble/rattle.Very disappointed as I really, really wanted to love this!Edit: I've noticed Satechi support answering questions to say this device charges the iPad "at 60w" -- even the 2021 iPad Pro 12.9" can charge at a MAX of 30w. So this is just a lie. Lowered rating as this deceitfulness deserves no more :)

Does what it says on the tin!

Really thought this would be the perfect solution for the side table to make the iPad easier to use, partially when transitioning between holding the device and using it in 'stand' mode. Unfortunately the viewing angle is all wrong, with the iPad resting too low an angle for even faceID to work properly. It could easily have been improved with a more rigid/adjustable hinge, but sadly the one used only supports one angle.To make matters worse, it wobbled on first setup, only for me to realise one of the rubber 'feet' was missing... Subsequently found in the box so it had fallen off already before arrival.This would be a perfect product if you improved the hinge, and found a way to charge using the smart connector instead of the dangling cable.
