Yes she does. The hip joint causes the leg to flair to the side, with a little extra flex, and the bend at the knee allows her to approximate a cross-legged sit.

Yes, the doll can sit and stand. Does not bend at knees.

Does she have the oversized head in comparison to her body?

I don't know that the head is oversized but, characteristic of this collection, the eyes are definitely oversized to give the appearance of a younger character.
