Little stick, big sound, big feel, big control. I use them to play everything from jazz to prog. A pair lasts me months as I spend about an hour every other day drumming. Especially great for playing in tight spaces.

Amazon sent the wrong product and the return process is so much of a pain in the ass it’s sadly easier to just eat the cost of the product. Vater drumsticks are great, particularly if you get sent the right ones. Go make another billion dollars Amazon.

This is fairly much the same as the old 1980s Vic Firth Steve Gadd stick, as the modern version of which has increased slightly in size and gotten a bit more square in the tip in the last twenty years or so. Without having an old one to compare, it makes sense nonetheless, as Vater did contract work for VF for years, I understand, and this is probably a similar pattern (if not the same).

Like a mini 3A. Front weighted, Big barrel tip so it wont dent your heads. but overall a small quick stick. Hold it farther back in your hand. Great stick for fast chops. Problem is they are unreliable. Some are light as a feather some are super heavy. No quality control.

My go to sticks to play fast and accurately.
