I have been using these for the better part of the last 3 years. My subs are mounted on the back floor my truck under the seats facing the passengers feet, and without these, it would be a bad day for those subs, because I have teenagers, and they have friends. Fortunately for me these have been sturdy and have kept my subs from getting damaged. I also really like the look of these. they have a very industrial look without being to much. When I build my next box, I will use these again, because I feel they are worth the money regardless.

A few things are wrong in the description of the dimensions of the grill for a 10" subwoofer speaker. I have the 10" grill which shows 15.5" inside diameter. 1) The ACTUAL inside diameter is about 11" inches. The outside diameter of the Rockford Fosgate 10" R2D4-10 Prime 4-Ohm DVC 10" inch speaker is 10 and 7/8" inches. This leaves 1/16" inches clearance on each side for the grill to fit perfectly around the trim ring of the speaker (basically it fits perfectly without touching the speaker trim). 2) The height measurement of the grill bars in the description shows 1 and 3/4", the actual measurement from the deck mounting surface to the underneath of the grill bars is 1 and 5/8th inches (slightly less). For my Rockford Prime 10" speaker this allows exactly 1" inch clearance from the top of the foam surround to the underneath of the grill bars, I think this is allows more than enough cone excursion. If you have a speaker with extreme cone excursion at high SPLs, this might be a concern. 3) A picture in Amazon description shows the bars of the grill disconnected which led me to believe it was not one complete piece. The unit is actually completely assembled (welded), and it is VERY solid. I can lift the whole box with speaker installed and amplifier (Rockford Fosgate R2-250X1 amplifier attached) by one bar and it seems VERY strong. 4) Last thing...the 4 Phillips screws are not too strong. One of the heads broke off with just a little bit of torque going into MDF when I tried to tighten it (possibly too much). I would suggest you use better screws, possibly allens or torx depending on your box material.Note to Amazon/manufacturer: Correct the dimensions description, provide higher quality screws and get rid of the picture showing the bars removed from the mounting brackets... it's confusing.I'm happy to provide this review because the product itself is excellent for the price. You should sell more of these if you correct these few things.

I used the 12” grill to ensure wide enough coverage of my single 10” sub. Xmax on the sun is 22mm, and this grill sat a bit too low for clearance. I used a couple rubber washers at each attachment point to raise it up enough for the sun excursion to clear. It’s a perfect fit, looks great, and does well to protect the driver from gear in the back of my car. Good stuff!

These are good quality but they are not deep enough for massive audio hippoxl. I have to come up with spacers.

Easy to install and seem durable

Perfect fit with a great amount of space between the Sub & Grill to do its work without touching. I've seen some that sit right on top of the surround with no space. These are perfect!! 👌😎👌

The time is just what I need. Sturdy amd covers enough of the cone to be effective for what I need. The measurements on the Amazon site are wrong.The center bars clear a 9 inch sub with a little pressure putting them on. The out side bars are 7 7/8". And height is 1.5" high.

Purchases for my 10-in CT sounds subs that I have under the seat of my 2006 Chevrolet Avalanche.At first I was a little doubtful that I would like the way they look but once I did install them I can say I'm pleased.The only thing I would have to say is be careful with the screws that comes with the grill guards as they are not high grade and it's easy to break off the heads.

Did not clear my 10" sub, but made it work.No instructions but figured it out.Very annoying to set up.
