Great quality
Great piece of kit, good, solid quality, two edge options and it comes with a good protective sleeve. Very pleased.

Works a treat. But for the price, quality control isn't great
The ruler creates a deckle edge rather well. There are two grades of deckle to choose (one along each edge) and both work well on watercolour papers, handmade paper stock and most tissue and Chinese brush papers. It is made from quite chunky acrylic, which is good. My issue with this item is the quality for the premium price. I purchased this as a gift. When it arrived, the metal eyelets covering the hanging hole were both detached. The glue residue was visible in the recess and on the face of the ruler. In addition to this, the case was quite scuffed and marked. Unfortunately I didn't have time to return the item, so ended up carefully sanding back the excess glue, polishing the acrylic and re- gluing the metal eyelets in place. Disappointing given the price - Although the ruler does work for it's intended purpose.

Poor
Sadly I didnt read the other reviews before buying this. I had the same issues. Basically mine also arrived with the brass hole protectors loose in the case and the finish around the hole was voered in glue. Also it arrived with scratches on the rule itself and the case was dirty and poor quality. This is way overpriced for what you actually get.

Makes a neat wave pattern on the paper edge not a rustic deckled edge
Doesn’t give a rustic deckled edge. Creates a neat wavy edge on handmade paper as if cut with scissors.

Poor quality and not a deckle edge
The product is poor quality for the price. It also produces more of a postage stamp style perforation and not a deckle edge. I wish I had read the reviews.
